I love the public farm space! It is helping a 3 day old server-goer to build up my income.

Although the farm next to the town isn't finished, @Inamine is still selling perms to it. It includes a giant cocoa floor, a potato floor, a carrot floor, a fishing floor, a pumpkin floor, and a melon floor. If you want perms, they are now 6k, but will probably rise to about 10k when it is finished. Trust me, it is a pretty good deal.

(Also, cocoa can be worth $100 per 4 stacks, so it's very profitable to farm. Farming works best with an axe, and fortune gives you more :) )

Hey inhabitants of WaterCraft,

As one of the co-owners and better off players in our town, I have decided that sometime in the near future I will have a scavenger hunt around the town :) I don't know what date it will be on, but it will be on a weekend.

Some examples of what will be in the chests (not limited to this):

-Gold
-Diamonds
-Some Nstars
-Emeralds
-Blocks of coal, iron, lapis, and redstone
-Enchanted tools

If you are one of the better off players in our town you are free to donate to this scavenger hunt. Pm or mail me in-game and put your contributions in my mailbox :)

Um..I Agree to the rules and stuff.

 

Many of you may or may not have realized that I won one of the voting raffles for May! :) Still can't believe it myself, but that will mean overall that there will be more prizes! If you want to know specifically what there will be more of, check the May voting prizes update!

Also, anyone is allowed to participate, as long as they're from the town :) (Even donors to the contest) This means that there is a chance to get back whatever they donated, but they will not be favored in the contest Everyone will have an equal chance of getting prizes.

I will be working over the specifics with @Inamine for the next few days. If he wants to participate, then I will not tell him the chest's locations. If he just wants to watch, though, I may have him help me look over the contest (only if he wants to :) He doesn't have to do anything he doesn't) Same goes to any other donor to the contest :) They will be recognized in a post unless they with to stay anonymous.

Unfortunately I have camp next week and won't have any internet while there. The contest will be held two weeks from tomorrow because of this. Don't despair though :) This just means that there will be more Nstars and I will be focused on making it the best contest ever! Good luck! :)

Why do you think you would be the best fit for this position? Im good with Advertising, and dealing with people

If there is a builder arguing with a Resident in Local chat about the resident breaking into the builders house and stealing things out of the builders chest, what do you do? First i will, ill tell them to stop it, and if the builder has proof, he can fill out a complaint
You see in Trade Chat that someone is renting apartments within Watercraft without clearing it first, what do you do? Tell them to clear it, then he can sell it
You notice the the town fountain is missing the expensive blocks (again) and you are pretty sure you know who did it. What would you do? File a complaint and also reported to Inamine
As a town assistant you are trusted with the owner permissions meaning you can add or remove permissions. We ask that you only add permissions to those that agree to rules and buy a plot and remove perms ONLY when rules are being broken. You do not own the town so you may not remove owner permissions. You may not do LWC removals unless you have cleared it with Inamine first. When you sell plots you give half of the money you make to Inamine and keep the other half. You will have authority over the members of the town but abuse of this authority will result in you losing the permissions and possibly facing an eviction. Do you understand and agree to these rules? Anything else you would like to add? Now i know my grammar in this isn't THAT good and i only lived in Watercraft for a few days, but i think i can do it

 

As a token of appreciation for the hard work that has already been done on the giant farm, this morning I donated a couple stacks of jungle wood and 13 stacks of cocoa to the cocoa farm, 2 stacks of jungle planks and 2 stacks of dirt to the sugar floor, and 2 stacks of dirt to the carrot floor.
Also, maybe I'm the only clumsy one around here, but I've fallen so many times off that ladder going up that I donated a second row of ladders up to the top.
If someone can put water down where the spaces were left on the sugar floor, I will gladly finish filling it in with canes.

I'll try to work on the farm today, but I won't spend long because I have packing to do. Yes, unfortunately, I'm going to be leaving the server totally for 7 days, starting tomorrow. ;-; I'll miss all of the wonderful people in town!

To celebrate me becoming an official RESIDENT, I put a chest in the back of townhall with some cake in it. Eat some!

 

Because Resident comes with sign capabilities, I figured I'd practice by selling some extra items I had lying around.

What would you like to do as a town assistant? I would like to try to fill up as much of the vacant lots and prebuilts to make this town the wonderful place it is already becoming. The more friendly faces we can get to WaterCraft, the more reason they'll have to return daily.
Why do you think you would be the best fit for this position? I feel that never being on an Economy Server, never belonging to a town, and never being in a position of Authority makes me a great choice. By not having any basis to compare, I will be able to enter this position with a clear mind able to be refined not only by myself and the owners, but also by the town residents and their personalities. An infinite evolution of policies and practices if you will.
Why do you think you will not be picked? The only reasons I can see to not be chosen, is my short history on this server and in this town. (But that's also the plus side, see above)
What have you done for this town so far? I have worked on the Sugar Cane farm and Cocoa farm in the large farm building a little. I have bought a plot next to my original home and made it a public space to break up all the house clusters a little. I installed a second set of ladders on the giant farm to make it easier/safer to go up and down.
Do you have any previous bans? If so, for what? I have never been banned on any servers I have played on

I believe the right thing to do, although feeling bad about it, would be to inform the builder that unlocked chests are fairgame on this server but not for fellow town members. I would also tell the Resident, although they didn't break any rules for the server, he did break rule number one on the towns rules. I would then inform him that the proper thing to have done would of been to inform the builder that his stuff should be locked for his own protection.
I would also inform the resident that did the "stealing" that his perms are being removed until the Management team can discuss final resolution of the infraction.

I will message the person renting apartments and inform the it is against the agreed upon rules to do so without letting @Inamine, @ImaginexMakers, or @magicwalrus14 know about it first. I will then tell them they are receiving their one and only warning for this offense. I will then inform @Inamine, @ImaginexMakers, or @magicwalrus14

I would inform the Owners/Co Mayor of the problem and have an investigation performed to confirm my suspicion of the criminal. The guilty party would then lose his Perms for violating a major rule on not only WaterCraft but EcoCityCraft. Follow up would including filing a complaint with the server itself to make sure the offender gets just punishment.

While being relatively new to not only WaterCraft, but also EcoCityCraft, my first home will always be in this wonderful town. There is so much to do to keep busy around here and I feel a sense of deep commitment to the first town I have ever resided in on all the servers I have played on.
