We have come to a decision on who our town assistant/ assistants will be. Now I would like everyone to know it was not an easy decision on who to promote, and who not to. I would like to thank those who applied for their wonderful applications, and being awesome around the town. I now want to take the time to say that I will be congratulating the new town assistant/assistants ... on Saturday, during the huge events. This will give time for all of the residents to give me some feedback on what they thought of the applications. Please do this in a forum pm. You the people can help decide who will be picked and who won't be. Speak now or forever hold your peace. The Scavenger Hunt will begin tomorrow at 6:30 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time)! Not many of you have responded to Inamine's attendance form. I am a bit saddened by this, but I will make the books for everyone. I'll place a total of four in your mailbox (If you have one). If you don't have a mailbox but live in the town, pm me or mail me in game and I will give them to you when you arrive for the scavenger hunt. I am going to try to be there. I'll end my mountain biking trip short to make it. I can donate some cookies or other crops. I also have a bunch of iron. I could donate some iron toolsets or something.

(I'm cheating) Are you willing to donate any items to the prizes? I've listed what I can above. I think like a set of Iron tools (Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Sword) would be good for the newer players. I have lots of food items from my basement farm that I can donate as well. Maybe a few zombie heads.

The Scavenger Hunt is OVER! Last I saw, though, there was still one more chest. It's still up for grabs to anyone that can find it (that hasn't already gotten they're four chests). Thanks again @ImaginexMakers for hosting the scavenger hunt! It was fun! Hopefully someone finds that last chest. I do hope there are more activities like this again. It's little things like this that help bring a town/community together, and I'd be more than happy to donate to future events!
I'm sorry I missed it! I was just eating dinner with the family, and couldn't get on. It sounds like it went well! As promised, I will be announcing the new Town Assistants! First off, thank you to all those that applied, I like to see people wanting to get into the staff side of the town! Our First Town Assistant is @Riggs316 and the Second Town Assistant is @BSweeney32 ! Congrats to you both! We really liked your applications and really enjoy having you around the town. I will be adding you both to a forum pm including myself and the Co-Mayors! I would also like to put a question out to everyone! Do you think we should have an event like this more often, and if so, how often and what kind of things should we include? I have no problem with funding a small event budget if we can come up with some ideas. I won't be able to set up a budget as of yet, as I am still in approximately 786,000 ECD of debt, but I should be out of that pretty soon! Indeed, the hunt went well! It was enjoyable, although the last chest is, as far as I know, still unfound! I definitely would like to see small events like this more often. I'm not sure really what types exactly, but we can figure out things to do. I also have no problem helping fund a small event. Perhaps a trade sign we can all donate to for events, so no one person is footing the bill themselves? Regarding Magic_Farm, oh man... That place is awesome. I've slowly been adding wood to the floors above the pumpkin level, after having finished that off.

As I was running around the town looking for chests during the scavenger hunt.. i couldn't help but notice all the really great houses and decorations that have sprung up since I first became part of the town. @Riggs316 - You are my nearest neighbor and I have to say I love you house and the really great additions..like the pool and barbeque...and the helicopter at the top really rocks! @BSweeney32 - All of your plots look great...i love the park...and your new home is beautiful! @ImaginexMakers - Your tower home really turned out fantastic.. If I can learn to ride elevators.. i would love to see the top...I bet you have an awesome view. ~Alpaca
Thank you, @alpacahearder! The helicopter is my newest addition as of last night. Found it in a map world I downloaded to check out, and figured I'd add it to my home. The whole town overall is full of awesome homes/buildings/decorations. The creeper head on your house is quite awesome, as well!
Hey everyone. Thanks for the congratulations. I'm honor to have been chosen as a Town Assistant. I am always plugging holes in Magic_Farm I'm finding. Messes with my rythm when I hit the dead spots. It must be a block glitch or something on the cocoa, as my private cocoa farm ends up with missing pods often. I thought the scavenger hunt was a great idea! It helped to get everyone moving thoughout the town to see the progress of our every growing community. My original plot will have something on it eventually. For now at least the trees make it less plain. See ya in game!
