Saying a 1 hit kill is unfair is not over exaggerated. It gives non kitters next to no chance -
I know that may seem unfair but buffer isn't the only kit... It may be the most overpowered one... But its not the only one-

It's funny how a lot of people are saying they make builders leave because of their kits. It's not just builders, myself and other longtime members I know don't play SG anymore (we attempt every once in awhile) because of the kits.
Sure, we could buy the kits but what is the point to that? With kits, it's not Survival Games, it's "let's get OP right of the get go and see how many people I can kill before they have a chance to play the game". Even if I find full iron, iron sword, someone with all those kits come up and hits me and I would die in 2-3 hits. Why waste the time to find all the items just to be destroyed by someone who just had to type a command.
Not everyone (like myself) is out to make a profit from survival games. I would just like to play and actually have a chance (more that that 1/8th chance non-kit game) to play a fair game. I wouldn't even care if it cost money (eco-dollars) to play the map and there was no money for winning. You could even make a new non-kit map and have it only host 6 people (or whatever number of people) at a time. You could also have it where you can only play the map once a day or something. [Throwing random thoughts out]
No need for comment about my post, just saying my view on when I would attempt to play Survival Games.
Anyways...
For the people with kits; good for you, I'm sure it was money well spent and I hope you make a lot of money off of winning and destroying people without them, like myself. -
Alright...I know that some people agree with me, and some others will not.
I think that this idea is good.
Let's look at the different sides:
If you are a user with a few kits, then you can easily die to those who have a lot more kits than you and use them in every game. If both sides were nerfed, the gap between the two equipment levels would stay the same percentage, but decrease in its wideness (If the nerf is bananced). This would theoretically increase your chances.
People with lots of kits are a little more difficult - some of them enjoy the big amount of kits they have, but if you look closely some of those with a big amount of kits make some of those suggestions about nerfing kits.
People with no kits are the ones who come to the server, are attracted by SG, get killed by OP kits and then complain after finding out that they cost real money and it's a pay2win. A good percentage of them leaves, less possible donations for the server.
Also, I see people complaining about "One-hit" kills every time they loose in a SG to miq+bfr etc. And not only those without kits, but also those with kits. So, I see a general/high level of acceptance in all groups.
Furthermore, decreasing the cost of some weaker kits to 10$ because they were nerfed could convince more people to try some of the cheaper kits because they would be easier to afford with ECD, meaning more features for the server. -
BTW... These are the kits that are most talked about... Not including ElementForce or Stay and Fight and such, things like buffer and MIQ.
1.MIQ:
1. If the user has a fair amount of armor, MIQ can take a longer time and sometimes even lose to a full iron user if the MIQ user does not have buffer.
2. If the user does not have any armor, it tends to take 3-4 hits with MIQ without buffer.
3. If there is a CC user in the game they have a pretty good chance at beating you.
4. MIQ tends to be one of the kits that is over rated about it being "to OP," but the people that say that tend to be people that rarely have ever played SG or have little to none SG kits.
2. CC:
1. I believe that Kit CC is perfectly fine and does not have to be removed or nerfed at all.
2. This one I also believe is no where close to "to OP" because of it taking 3-5 hits to kill a person with full random armor and maybe 2-3 hits (higher or lower) with no armor.
3. Although the flame can be annoying and powerful, it kinda has to be a part of the sword because without it is nearly the same as a stone or iron sword.
4. It is way easier to kill a user with CC then MIQ because with CC it is slower to kill another user with even a wood sword if you are not hitting the other user well.
3. Buffer:
1. OK... So this one is said to be the "most OP" kit. It is generally not the kit its self for this one, it is the strength potion, I may be ok if they changed buffer from Strength 2 to Strength 1 because of the power of Strength 2.
2. The rest of the items included in this kit are perfectly fine to me as they have little to no effect on the killing of the user you are stalking.
3. There are many different debates on this kit on wether it should be removed or not, or wether it should be nerfed. I think it should either be left the way it is or moved down to a Strength 1 potion.
4. Spy:
1. I really do not think there should be anything done to this kit and it should be left as it is.
2. Although the user may be invisible... That saying that they don't have any armor and are therefore armorless. Where as if they are wearing armor, they are fully seeable, just you are not able to see them with there name tag as invisibility takes away your name tag to make you stealth. So what I am saying with this one point is that if you have armor on you are completely visible.
3. Ok now.. Back to what I was saying about invisibility. If you are not wearing any armor and are invisible, you are not able to be seen, but very vulnerable if hit by say a buffer user and/or a non litter or a hunter user.

EDIT: If you can't beet'a kitter, your gunna have to become one.

Exactly what I think. And for the people who complain about kits generally, they have just the same right and ability to purchase kits as we did so there is 0% to complain.

I had also forgot to add (which I will add now :p) that I once said to myself... "If you can't beet'a kitter, your gunna have to become one."

A totally agree with all of your suggestsions. I can't believe that sg earnings were doubled for another month. I thought we were trying to FIGHT inflation, not promote it.

2. Even if you try to get kits by trading ECD for them, kitters kinda sorta make it pretty hard to make money without kits on SG, which is the feature the non-kitters are trying to get in the first place (I mean kits)... -
