I'm pretty sure that a sharp1 stone sword, a power 2 bow, and potions are still significant advantages....

Kits should be a slight advantage, not a mindless win. +1 Edit: Also, I own most kits. I wouldn't mind seeing nerfs to all of them. I would not expect a refund, as Administration has clearly stated in the past that changes in features does not warrant a coupon/refund.
I didn't suggest using in game money at all. Neither did I suggest them be removed. The wiki states that features may be changed at any time. This will be a change that positively affects the community. Impossible. Doing that would require issuing coupons to countless users as per the donation disclaimer. Weakening them to a point goes around that.
As much as my kits are great for earning money fast, I would give them up or be ok with them beign nerfed for the greater good. It would be nice to hve an option for a coupon, but the server is not required to do that unless they full out remove the kit
Maybe add unb to the stone sword of makeitquick? I dunno, just something to replace knockback (although it's not THAT needed)
The one thing that irks me about this is that it will never be implemented. It's a wound beyond repair.
Best suggestion ever. I joined in SG got killed about 3 seconds after the grace period by an invis guy
I made it all the way to a 1v1 in a boss fight with Tanmanyellow and he 1 hit me with an enchanted sword.
+1. Basically, ditto what all the other +1'ers said. Also, about those that'd quit the server because their kits are being "nerfed" (which they're not, only being modified according to this suggestion). Say 50 of these people quit because this suggestion is implemented. I bet 500 builders in the long run, who otherwise would've quit due to these 50, would stay, because they have more of a chance to put up a fight in sg.
1. The ends justify the means for this one. 2. The kits in this would still be very powerful and some of them id still say OP just not close to the severity now.
-1... I have put a lot of money in to kits and do not wish to give them up. I see that they give an unfair advantage at times but it is also a major part of the ECC economy. To some people, they may hate what I am posting, but to some they may agree. I also believe that people seem to over exaggerate kits at times and how they are unfair (not me) but thats them and I'm me so let the people think what they want to think and let the community have the arguments. or
