Number 1 does not really make any sense to me as you can spend ECD to get IRL features. And on Number 2... You can make money of mining, farming, etc. as I did for $90 of my kits.
Ok... Here we go again... BTW all... Not trying to flame anything here and I'm sorry If I am. 1. MIQ and buffer: 1. If you have no armor which would tend to be your or the chests fault in not getting any armor, then you are extremely vulnerable to this combination. 2.If you are wearing a fair amount of armor... you will tend to have more of a chance at staying alive longer... Which makes your point of saying that it is a 1-2 hit kill, when it is not with armor. 2. MIQ, Buffer, and Spy: 1. With this one... If you are a non-kitter it is harder to avoid being killed by a user with this combo... But is not impossible... 2. Also... If you add armor if you are invisible, you really aren't invisible. For example putting ElementEwarness on of PerfectFit and such. 3. If there is another user with the kit /kit hunter, then they can find you fairly easily as they have a compass that show you to where the user is. 4. Also... If you take away the buffer... They are easier to kill... 3. CC, Buffer, and Spy or CC and Buffer 1. I believe that this is totally fair because this kit can take a fair amount of hits to kill another user even if you have buffer. @greg45865734
I have two kits and rarely use them. In addition, I am absolutely atrocious at PvP, so if I win it is due to teaming with somebody and then them giving me the win. I guess mindless was the wrong word choice, however the advantages of kits are admittedly way over the top. A poor PvPer with full kits will destroy a skilled PvPer who does not own any. That destroys the user experience for newer players.
Just saying that if you're trying to stop kits, I think it's more effective just to not buy them then to buy them and beat up other kitters.
I'll post here what I said in another thread: (http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/t...moved-poll-included.115213/page-2#post-620591) Vsg is a good kit. Hunter is a good kit. Scavenger is fine. Adventure is alright. These kind of kits are alright. The armor kits are also acceptable into a non OP game. Buffer should be removed completely. Grenadier should be removed. Stay and Fight should have the Infinity bow removed. Make it Quick should be made into a Sharpness I Knockback I sword and a Power I bow. Complete Control should not have Sharpness as well as Fire Aspect/Flame. So a Sharpness I, Unbreaking I, Knockback I sword or a Fire Aspect I, Unbreaking I, Knockback I sword. Same goes for the bow, either take away Flame I or Power I. If you drink an Invisible potion for the Spy kit, you should also get slowness or another bad potion effect.
+1 A quote from mission, "I would like to see non-kitter have a slightly better chance but still give a slight advantage to players who have donated." I can't say it any better! SG kits can be very op. I know we have to buy them, but they can be OP. I mean look at 3point14mp..
Sorry was going to respond to this a while ago but I kinda just didn't. First off I'll try to not repeat thce points Oxwood said but read his responses too. 1. Sure it's technically not impossible to beat someone with buffer, but that doesn't make it fair or not OP. 2. Getting gear in chests take time. Using kits takes no time. This means they will already have the massive advantage over you before you can get well equip. 3. The whole 1-2 hit kill isn't exactly meant to be literal. The point of the argument is they can sneak up to you with spy and kill you before you have any chance of fighting back, having decent armor doesn't stop this. 4. Yeah invisibility comes with a couple disadvantages, but that doesn't change the fact people can use it to sneak up on people and kill them before they have any chance of fighting back which is OP. 5. Buying kits just to beat kits doesn't help the problem and isn't a legitimate solution to the problem because it just adds to the problem and it's an excuse to not do anything about the problem. 6. Kit hunter doesn't really tell you exactly where they are especially if they're moving and if you're alone it doesn't stop them from pulling out MIQ and 2 shotting you. 7. Idk how you would take away buffer. 8. As for the CC I don't think CC is really the main concern here but the kit would be a lot more fair if these changes were added to it.
Well they will still be very powerful and more strategic depending on where you drink them. Plus the potions are the main problem here so this would go a long way to solving the problem.
Yeah but it would fix the general issue with buffer which is taking skill out of the game. I'd be open to returning it to $20 usd but I would like it nerfed more in that case.
