My comment was strictly pointing out that he has only been on the server for 1 week at that point in time and has no inference to the situation of the exp market as it was. I do not see the connection between human nature and that of a virtual currency. Even is he knew how price manipulation worked it does not infer that he is knowledgeable of this server's exp market whatsoever which was evident with his protests of there being no form of profit from exp because it was being destroyed. _Tans's point was that the exp market does not need builders like him or residents now probably flooding the market with exp further deflating it. If they want money earn it another way.

In the long run (not just on the short term) what we are doing with exp is beneficial to all members new ones included. As when those users rank up they will be able to sell their tools for a much higher price again. Also it is not stalking. There is no malicious intention towards individuals, other mentioning of finding your spawner within this thread are also inclusive of our own posse as a form of teasing and fun. I have absolutely no problem if people use /near to find me in the mining world they can't hurt me and if they tried they would be banned. Breaking a spawner would not hurt me and it hurts no one else. Maybe some kid would be upset that he has to work harder to earn money on this 'hardcore' economy server because he can't afk at a easy kill mob spawner, but he should get over it as honestly using exp to earn money is way too easy and because of how easy it is these users end up being ones who beg (not all mind you, but many) because they don't want to lift a finger to earn their money with more effort like I did when I was a builder.

I worked my butt off earning my ranks doing gravel monsters, farming pumpkins with only reg diamond axes until I could afford a better one. Mining out stone and other things for people, the list goes on. All of what I did took time and effort as it should be, and if I did manage to get exp I would give it to people to anvil things for me, not just throw it in a sign so I could get easy money. This action we are taking to get to people at spawners does not make me feel bad, nor should it. I especially do not feel bad because it is encouraged by andrew himself to help the exp market. If the exp market wasn't suffering so bad andrew would not have disabled ore exp drops either. That hurt me more than the spawners do, but I am ok with it, because it just means I have to work that much harder to find exp or spend larger sums to buy it for my anviling stuff I do.

Dork is apart of this posse, and he is aware that no one is safe including our own in what we do. Your going off on a tangent to target single players is misplaced. If anything he was teasing dork and dork was fine with it. Get off your high horse.

 

You do realise I was sharing the spawner with other people, then cause cry baby HCPillaroffire couldn't have it to himself he broke it. Since I had nothing to do until rising comes, I am gonna hunt him down in the nether for fun. Which reminds me, i'm gonna go make a suggestion to remove /vanish in the nether.

OhMrsKittyKat What is the point of removing /vanish in the nether? You can't use it for a PvP advantage. And plus, I want in in this :)

 

rockboy2000 and I have developed a great system. I use my homepoints and /near to get directly above someone. I tp rockboy2000 to me and he digs down to investigate while I move on to my next homepoint and continue searching. Then repeat.

I also did it with Kick_Me today, works well.

Twas my spawner to do with what I pleased. It was just smart to break it, as you are one of the few people on this server I wouldn't trust for any reason.

Also good luck with you and your 5 other people threatening me last night, I am not easy to catch, nor do I have /v so that suggestion would be pointless.

 

Found a set up blaze inside a mountain yesterday with a glass ceiling, no idea who's it was, but another spawner bites the dust.

 

My blaze spawner is hidden so well that you can walk around the nether fortress and never find it, you will even walk right past it and not find it. Unless of course you go mining in the nether...

 

Oh, you're right. If the person that was being targeted is part of the posse, which I didn't notice, then I now see the playful banter that is going on. My apologies on going off the handle a bit.

 

Yeah, that's part of my problem. My head is stuffed with too much uncommon knowledge, I don't know things that are common knowledge. :)

 

I am retiring from spawner hunting, I don't know if it is permanent.

 

That made me teary-eyed. They did that at my grandfather's funeral this past summer.

 

Anyway, I'm stopping because with optifine back I can once again mine for good money. So I want to do that when I have spare time instead.
