Thank you so much for adding to the discussion nelsin I'm sure if there was a way to see who edits the highest percentage of their posts, it would undoubtedly be you
Or you could have someone stalk you around the mining world, locating you all the time and destroying every spawner you find. Happy new year. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
Wow Tans, that was a quick fall! You had literally just climbed on the wagon! Oh well, as long as you are having fun.
Well destroy a double blaze spawner that I had, because Ohmrs found it lol. I wasn't going to let a bunch of people get the cords to that and show up one day at once and kill me while I was there lol.
I am aware of all your Mcmmo skill levels, I am not stupid, and I am always alert so like I said earlier good luck!
I have been on the server for quite a while and in my opinion his opinion is actually correct. The argument that this makes experience worth more so that newer people can make more money doesn't actually hold water. If you are destroying all the spawners then there aren't spawners for these people to find to get experience to sell. So, ONLY those that are good at hiding their presence will benefit from the increase in experience prices. Being not long on the server is not an argument for a persons opinion not being of value either. They can easily have enough experience with human nature to understand how price manipulation works. That being said, I don't mind one way or the other that spawners are being destroyed. I don't usually farm for experience, at least for very long.
While I don't care whether you destroy this persons spawners or not. "Stalking" a specific user when they come on the server merely because you know he as spawners, seems to me to be stretching the rules. I could definitely be wrong and the following statement in the server rules pertains to using MultiHome and /back: Any user caught abusing said commands to harass/stalk or cause any sort of grief for another player may face severe consequences. There is a lot of talk in this thread of using multi-home and /near to locate people to find their spawners. It seems to me that it is one thing if you use multi-home and /near to locate people semi-randomly. But, it is a completely different thing if a specific person becomes targeted. I have no doubt that if it were me that was listed in this thread as a person of interest and then while I was farming at a spawner, a group of people destroyed those spawners and then I moved to my other spawner set up and a group of people destroyed that set up and this happened multiple times, I would most definitely feel specifically targeted, stalked, maybe even bullied. I personally believe that targeting a specific individual because they made a post in the forums that they are selling spawners is a questionable practice for this group of people to start using. If you find him because you are hunting for ANYONE, that's one thing. But, if you find him because you are hunting specifcally for HIM that is another. Of course, I'm not a moderator and am not trying to mini-mod. I'm just asking that people think twice about targeting a specific person just as TANS has realized that it is one thing to hunt down spawners but it is another thing to then remove other things obviously related to the person that was set up at the spawner (which would indicate that they were builders without a home anyway). Now, I would say that TANS was perfectly within his right according to the server rules to grief the chests and eTable, but decided he doesn't want to cross that line. But, in this case, I wonder if it isn't actually crossing a server rules line to target a specific individual.
Hit reply and it quotes for you. If you want to quote 2 or more posts, you can hit reply on each post that you want to quote and each will be quoted.
You know what the best thing is about this thread? You all have leaked out your primary methods for seeking people out. I guess I have to make sure I /vanish if I'm at a spawner.
Well if you have vanish you should use it by default when at a spawner. I still find spawners when mining anyway, so no spawner is completely safe. I know how to quote. It is just with the way xenforo is made and the fact that the new IE has many problems, meaning that it won't allow me to quote. So I now use firefox.
I hardly ever actually farm spawners, but, I will definitely use vanish from now on. You know how to quote now that I taught you. You could have just said thank you. Now, where is that sarcasm smily.
