NO ONE has gotten banned for Xray 4 times, because the 4th time is an actual permaban.
Most I've seen is 2 times.

 

Spenca me as a donator saying that we have helped the server to still run, you being not one possibly ATM, we do deserve all the credibility that Andrew has given us. As well, Andrew tries making it fair for people that have donated. As well donation features/perks for donators, will never not be a non donation.

 

No VIP in their right mind would dare x-ray when they have a reputation and $500 to lose xD

 

I personally believe rules do need to be tightened for donators. Yes they help support the server but it is their fault. There is no rule that said:

. Honestly it's just not right. Yes, this isn't the way the real life works but who wants ECC to be just as corrupt? I am a donator and I do believe rules should be tightened; it's not a worry because I don't plan on breaking any rules.

 

I think before making stuff like this you would need to be a donator yourself, at the moment your argument looks biased. We could say the same thing about you, "Non-donators should have stricter rules applied to them because they haven't helped the server out with donations"

 

Trust me, the staff team notices when donators decide to take advantage of our forgiveness system.

 

My thoughts are pretty simple.
It is true, that donators themselves have got away, with big things. But not all.
I know at least two people, very close to me , who were both VIP's and, now are banned, with no chance of coming back, this is forum ban, Ip ban and of course, In-Game ban. Both these users, I know, have been banned over ten times themselves, being the ban slight, or not, that is no excuse. Therefore, I see your point. I do agree, too, donators need to have more strictness, on them. It is true you have supported the server, and I think everyone on the servers thanks you for this, but a simple ban, and getting unbanned, is not enough. To this time, I've never seen a Temp-Ban bigger than 2 Months. If a donator does indeed x-ray, or anything such as that (Meaning, as bad) He or her should deserve a extremely big ban, like 1-2 months. Not only that, he should get his balance cleared, and punished, with a negative balance.
So, I can say, I agree to mostly all of you (In exception to one or two people), you are all right. Again, someone who has been banned twice, for x-ray, and got twice, away with it, is completely unfair, to people who have not donated.
I say, we issue longer Temp-Bans, more In-Game punishments, but not to the point of a permanent ban.
Many people, being high donators, could use "Methods", that I am not writing here, to retrieve there money, after donating. This would cause a lot of problems to Andrew, because of the big money drop, and the money invested disappearing, so, that is another reason.

Some harsher punishments for donators in place of permabans? Lotto temp bans, HG temp bans, loss of spawnshop, temp LWC limit demotions, and in harsher cases, inventory wipes, enderchest wipes, even demotions.
You can kick them off the server for a week and they could care less, they can go play Xbox. But if you limit their playing fun, that will kick em in the gut the first time, and they'll shape up right away.

Imagine how ProducerNL would feel like if he lost his lotto abilities for 3 days.

People may say they don't like this, but you can make the rules anyway you want, and never have to use them. Harsher rules = less people that break them.

If a pres wants that new town, gets demoted to mayor, he can't buy a new town till he registers for president again. It's not a magical "Yay, everything is back to normal again!" It's a: Yay, temp ban is over, but no lotto for a week :(

If you are going to apply those punishments it would have to apply to everyone. It wouldn't be fair if just because you are a donator you have extended punishments.

You say if they get banned, they can go off and do something else. Same thing if they lose lotto or their spawn shop; go off and do something else. There's multiple ways to be successful.

And the last part, when you suggest to take away their rank, what if they got their rank totally legit, but started x-raying after because they were bored or whatnot? They'll lose all motivation, thinking that they will never get it again. I see where you're coming from though.

Just keep these rules. It's simple enough to just type /ban or /unban. Mods don't go through much trouble typing a command.

 

I don't know about you, but I don't X-Ray, and i wouldn't feel bad for a tycoon that got bumped down to pres because they did it. They had 100% of the choice, it's no one but their fault.

I mean, hey, it's no excuse to say "I X-Rayed because i was bored..."

 

This would probably never happen. Imagine I sell donation features, buy pres and x-ray. My rank gets taken, but my money is loss. This would create a big deal of problems, will never happen.

I understand, but you need to see all possibilities, and problems that can occure.

 

Donators that have spent a lot do get away with a lot. I belive rules could be a little more strict for donators.

 

I never see problems with punishing non-donators. There would be no problems with punishing donators the same way.

 

What you are not seeing here, is if I was to sell donations, until 300k and then buy the melon sword, x-ray and get it taken.
It's the same, as me donating for Tp, x-ray and get Tp taken, do you understand?
Non-Donators would never have that problem, you see. Thats why it wouldn't be fair.
