I would like to welcome @TwistedEssence to Southcaster -- who just purchased my empty house at the south end of the town, along with the "little" vault. He will be joining us as co-co-mayor of Southcaster as well, I'm just too tired to get to that contract tonight. @voltair42 isn't going anywhere, we'll just add a third co-mayor to help.

I have an announcement:

I am not big on titles ... but Tycoon comes with a little perk, namely the ability to claim an abandoned town.... so I went for it.

I have filed the application to claim that hideous pile of [EDIT] named Fogden. Once I own it, I will wipe it off the face of the earth, then move it to match up with the rest of the towns on the grid. This should open up three possible new areas for @gstoner3 or others to found new towns to the northeast, in an area that has always been blocked by that hideous pile of [EDIT].

I'm really not sure whether we're allowed to say [EDIT] on the forums. Oh, [EDIT]! Guess not....

Hello. So, I have started a new job recently which leaves me with much less time overall, and much less time on ECC. And I have found that I get very cranky lately when playing as a result of how busy the town is so often... not complaining about that, I'm very glad the town is successful. It's just that between work and being tired, running Lancaster just isn't fun for me any more.

But, the town is great. I don't want it to run down because I won't be on enough to keep it up -- or to put it more accurately, won't be on in a good enough mood. It's the single most active city on ECC, and it should keep growing.

So I've decided to sell it. Well, most of it. There are seven towns in Lancaster region, plus the farm town, Culvercity. As of today, I will entertain serious cash-only offers on any of them except Eastcaster and Culvercity. I simply can't bear the thought of moving that vault in Eastcaster again, and Culvercity belongs to more than just me. This also means that all recent co-mayor jobs could be up in the air as well, since the contracts are with me and a new town owner would have the right to do... well, anything they want.

So, I'm not in any huge rush to unload towns, nor will I be selling to just anyone who shows up with a wagonload of money. I would like to make enough to buy four towns out in the wilderness somewhere and start fresh. It's just time for me to move on to a new project, while I still feel like Lancaster is a game ... instead of work when I get home from work.
