Epicure's market proposal is probably more aesthetically complicated, from an architectual perspective, than spawn. But, we aren't doing it for the prize, we are doing it for the community and the good of the server.

Edit: I'm planning on using purpur blocks to represent shops that are auctionable but if we can't, I'll use bricks. I've completed my design, just waiting on this and possibly ownership updates until I submit. If I get impatient I may just make two versions, one that is 1.8 compatible and one that is 1.9 compatible. -
Please remember the submission format, I will not be accepting designs where I have to download the world and do the schematic manually. You must provide it.

--Remember, add 4 blocks high of leaves on all glowstone that's on the ground. I couldn't do it because the leaves would decay.-

Here goes nothing...

I'm not too fond of bricks, if you can't tell by my critiques of other users' shops, so I would certainly hope that bricks are replaced with purpur ASAP if we don't update to 1.9 by the 12th.-

One minor note - I will be updating my schematic on a regular basis, so what you see is not necessarily the final product. I'm open to feedback - if you have any, please leave it on my profile in order to follow the thread rules. Thanks.

The Epicure Build Team politely requests that the deadline be extended to Monday the 14th. I'm a double major and consequently lack considerable free-time during the week. I would endlessly appreciate an extension, so that weekend free-time can be devoted to the project. This build has become one of our most ambitious and ornate projects to date, requiring hours tedious detail work. We hope to deliver a market submission that is both aesthetically sublime and functionally superior; that is, we hope to mirror the community in this communal marketplace bonum commune communitatis.

Is there any specific reason the market design must have 72+ shops?
