Vanilla Changes on EcoCityCraft
On EcoCityCraft we disable or modify a fair amount of vanilla mechanics for economy balance and to maintain performance for a lag-free gaming experience.
Here are the following changes from Vanilla:

- Redstone
- Hoppers, Droppers, Pistons, Observers cannot be placed.
- Redstone clocks are limited, server will break clocks that are too fast. Check our Skyblock Anti-Lag Measures for the details on the Redstone limits, these apply to all servers.
- Mobs
- Mob Breeding is disabled (Except Turtles and Horses) - Chickens still spawn from and lay eggs.
- Mob Spawning is at reduced levels, Hostiles in only the Mining world.
- Mobs stack if there are 5+ in a single chunk, naming mobs with a Name Tag will prevent stacking.
- Villager trading is disabled.
- Phantoms do not spawn.
- Allays are disabled.
- Snow Golems and Iron Golems are disabled.
- Block Placing/Breaking
- Using an Axe on Melons is disabled, we have Melon Swords instead.
- Beacons require a feature to be placed ((Main) ExtCreationsPlus2)
- Dispensers require Pyro or Water features to be placed (You can ask community members to assist you.)
- Sponge placement requires a feature ((Main) Water)
- Spawners cannot be silk'd at all, they can be broken in the Rising world.
- Spawners only spawn mobs in the Mining world.
- You cannot change spawner types with spawn eggs.
- Item Frames are disabled.
- Armor Stands are disabled.
- Fire spread is off
- TNT does not explode in the Rising/Mining worlds.
- Other
- Nether/End Portals don't work (requires a rank to enter - Survivor/Voyager)
- EXP does not drop from ores in Rising or Nether worlds, only in Mining World
- Smelting does not give EXP
- Cactus does not grow, but can be placed
- Sleeping is turned off
- Luck of the Sea enchantment has no effect due to the mcMMO fishing loot tables overriding the vanilla one.
