I brought a Star Shovel and Star Pick and nothing else.

I bring an iron shovel, max fortune diamond pick, ice, sometimes armour, fireprot potions, torches, and baked potatoes to the mining world.

 

My max fort pick, eff7 full fire prot chain, an some food.

 

When I go into the mining world I bring my max pick (eff5, unb3, silk), a bow and like 10ish arrows (random mobs) and a max shovel (eff5 unb3 fort3). I also have commands, allowing me to /enderchest, which has proven to be extremely helpful, allowing me to store torches/extra tools/drop off ores faster.

 

This is what I carry:

• Full Diamond Armor (Boots: Enchantment: Prot 4, Feather Falling 4)
• Diamond Sword
• Max Fortune Diamond Pickaxe (The only one I have)
• Food
• Torches
• Crafting Table

I think that's it.

3 Stone Picks
2 Stone Shovels
1 Iron Pick
5 Cooked Porkchops
32 Torches

Thats all you need ;)

 

Then your mining trip will end short

 

I only mine for a short time,
I tend to bring other tip bits like a crafting bench and some logs.

Dunno,
Dont really need the money anyways, made my town and stuff.
I get a fair bit i guess :p

 

Now, depends on how awake I am.

Good amount of sleep, about to go mining:

• Decent amount of food (x64 baked potatoes)
• Silk Pick (Eff IV ST I Unb III, looking to upgrade to a maxed)
• Pick for the stone mining (Eff IV Unb III)
• Eff IV ST I Unb III shovel
• Ender Chest

Takes 1 trip

Nearing 8 ish

• Whatever amount of food I have on me
• Silk Pick (Eff IV ST I Unb III, looking to upgrade to a maxed)
• Pick for the stone mining (Eff IV Unb III)
• Maybe a decent shovel

Takes about 2-3 trips

After 9:30

• Whatever pickaxes I can find
• Whatever food I have, if at all
• Inventory full of random junk, maybe my pickaxes if I'm lucky

  • A compass, used to /j (comes with tp+)

/j ?

 

/j means /jump. It teleports you to the block you are facing at; makes it easier to jump across ravines.
