ECC is really good but, sometimes it's something uncontrollable that puts people off. Builders finally make it to res. Some pres comes and tells the res to give him 20k and in two weeks he will pay him back 30k. The pres never pays the resident back. Resident makes a complaint. If the res has full evidence the pres gives him 30k. If he doesn't the pres walks away with 20k. Res quits. ECC loses a user. Maybe education is the key. Perhaps have a forum on the forum page for builders and early players? How to collect evidence for proper trade. Auctions. What to avoid. Making money, Trade signs. Almost a full tutorial

 

The problem with is, is that builders don't look at the forums. Unless they are aware and read the tutorial. I sold a plot to a new player today that didn't even know that /lock and /sethome existed. They go on forums, apply for resident, and then get off until the apply for Mayor. Most don't read the wiki unless told. That is the problem.

 

What about a pop up when you open the forum? At the bottom of the page there will be a "I accept" button. Many will skip it but, it could help.

 

Spawn them IN the tutorial. That's all.

Frankly, I agree with this kid.. after all the drama that has been going over over the last few months, no wonder 100s of people are leaving.. The server used to be fun, when new people could enjoy it. They cant play sg, it's forever ruined with kits. They cant make good money unless they play for like 20 hours because no one gives them a chance to do anything.
