Ill becomean ambassador however i do not own a town and have very little income so it will be sometime before i can get one.

 

Um, i don't quite get it, it's not like there's a limited amount of mobs.
They respawn...your just losing that piece of leather and two pieces of beef for nothing. I don't get it :p

Auto butcher kills all mods every certain amount of time so this would do nothing.

 

I am a supporter of this. I love animals in minecraft, there just so cute. I will gladly throw my support behind this amazing organization! I feel like writing a speech now to celebrate my support.




My dear fellow citizens of ECC! A grave concern has cast is forbidding shadow across the land! It reaches out its icy fingers of despair, its glaze of doom, and its aurora of death. It has set upon us while we were distracted, coming out of the edges of our land to strike at us! This shadow is a shadow of death! The death of our animals!

It was allowed to happen when we thought our animals were infinite, we had no worries of depleting our tiny four legged friends. We killed and slaughtered to our fancy, always having four or five more to take the place of the fallen. These beasts fed us, clothed us, and made us cake that was not a lie! We did not realize our folly; we did not realize our luck. For the animals were not infinite, they were all too mortal. One day the evil beast called lag was set upon us by its master “mojang”! Our great forces tried desperately to fight the monster as it ravaged our land, but untimely their efforts were not enough. The lag beast was allowed to kill off the animals almost down to extinction! After the destruction of our herds did we do the sensible thing and preserve the few remaining animals that once drove our lives? No, we continued to kill them in a sad desperate pursuit of our old lives. The ravaged herds were brought down to only a few scattered terrified members. Always afraid of encountering one of the Humans that allowed the horrible lag to destroy them and then continued on killing them themselves.

Times must change my fellow citizens! We must save the pigs, cows, dogs, cats, chickens and sheep! We cannot continue to allow them to die! They were our friends from our earliest days of our time here on this land. They must be there to see the future! They stood by us and we must now stand by them! I call for a stop to the killing! A stop to the decimation! A stop to the betrayal of trust! I call on you all to protect and defend the scattered remains of our once great herds! We will save these species from extinction and expand their numbers to that, that have never been seen before!

Our task will not be an easy one! The hurdles set before us are quite high. We have to overcome our fellow citizens entrenched in their ancient ways of killing! We will have to be ever on guard less the lag monster finds its way back to our land! We will have to be weary of the plagues that kill our animals naturally! But my fellow citizen we can jump these hurdles! It is possible! We will see our herds reclaim their old glory! Rally behind the banner of P.O.P.M.O.E. citizens and charge into the fight! For only with your support will our humble goals be achieved. Long live ECC, Long live her citizens! And long live her animals!

In all seriousness guys treat these organizations for what they are. Treat them as groups designed to bring players of ECC together for a common goal and to have fun. No one is sitting here thinking that by supporting this organization we are actually going to save the animals. Yes they will get butchered or just murdered by players. There are multiple problems with mobs that require this. Just have fun with this. It’s just a way to put your stake in the ground with others and declare a cause. It is supposed to enhance your playing experience, and not to be taken as a commitment that requires your undivided attention. Unless you really don’t want to, just join to have fun. It’s why I am a member of this and FAROD.

If you see animals, you get more xp from breeding than killing. Or at least more from breeding then killing off all but 2. Breed the animals then kill what you want leaving at least 2. If you find only one don't kill it.

Also, if people only took the tops off of cacti, then they'd grow back and you could come back and get more. Which is better: 3 cacti immediately or 20+ cacti over time? Cacti are entities, so they grow on their own, which is why they aren't allowed to be planted. But, people could leave the naturally spawned cacti.
