Suggestion: Restore buffer back to its original state, seeing as it was never meant to be changed in the first place. To do so, we would need to change the Strength II potions in "/kit buffer" to a Strength I potion.
Reason: To explain my reasoning, we'll have to review how strength potions behaved when "/kit buffer" was first implemented.
Strength potions used to only add +1.5 hearts of damage per tier (+3.0 hearts of damage for strength II potions).
However, strength potions now do +130% melee damage per tier (+260% hearts of damage for strength II potions).
So, you can see how that would shift the scale in one direction. If not, I have attempted to compare below:
Sword base damage (with old Strength II potion) [with current Strength II potion]:
Wood/Gold Sword - 2.0 (5.0) [~7.0]
Stone Sword --------- 2.5 (5.5) [~9.0]
Iron Sword ----------- 3.0 (6.0) [~10.5]
Hopefully it's easier to understand how the strength potions compare to the old mechanic. Now, let's compare the values of old Strength II potions and current Strength I potion.
Sword base damage (with old Strength II potion) [with current Strength I potion]:
Wood/Gold Sword - 2.0 (5.0) [~4.5]
Stone Sword --------- 2.5 (5.5) [~5.5]
Iron Sword ----------- 3.0 (6.0) [~6.5]
You can see here that the current Strength I potion values look almost identical to that of the of old Strength II potion values, which were factored in with buffer's original creation. The only difference is wood/gold swords are weaker, but the iron sword is still stronger than before. To change the potion to Strength I, that would restore "/kit buffer" to its original and intended effectiveness.
Any Other Information: No other information, but for those of you who are immediately going to deny this suggestion, I ask that you at least consider the proposal put forth. However, if your argument only consists of "I don't want it to be changed because that's not what I paid for! I'll just ask for my money back!" then I ask nicely that you refrain from posting on this thread. If you'd rather want your money back from a support feature because it was restored, then you shouldn't consider yourself a true supporter of EcoCityCraft.

For a long time my favourite suggestions about changing bfr have been about makingt he str2 a str1 potion. The current str2 is simply too OP, but a str1 would balance it better. Thanks for doing the math for everybody! :)

I agree with unknown, the current strength two potion makes bfr seem really over-powered, and it also gives too much of an advantage to those who have it.

Strength 2 pot is overpowered even in a prot 4 fight and way too op to be in SG imo.
I have Bfr kit but I would love to see this happen! -

This will make it a lot harder to get those kill streaks, if this suggestion goes through the SG point system may want to be re-looked at.

So from what I understand, the way strength potions were changed in a way the also buffed them. This in-turn made buffer stronger that it was first implemented. Correct? If this was not the way it was supposed to be than, than it has become stronger.

Completely agree, one problem str 1 is either 3:00 mins or 8:00 mins therefore we will need to somehow make it less (1:30) I dont know if thats possible, if so another change could be make the str 2 last like 15 sec.
edit: Im dumb apparently its allready 30 seconds so we can change the time, my bad.

100% agree, this kit has ruined SG because now, sg is not skill based, it is merely based off who has the better kits, and more OP gear. Definately needs to become balanced again.

+1000 sg is complete crap with str2 and I have bfrpp. People would actually play more and it makes it way to easy for someone to get a win without using any skill. Sg is supposed to be more then just 1 hitting someone.
