The server will decide in the end. It has already decided to make melon swords still cut faster but not much information has been given beyond that. I think the server has an idea of what to do. I think thats how it will stay.

but I think personally this is a good idea +1 because it makes more food the the economy and with a change to melon prices it stops inflation. The melon sword owner are mad because they are unprepared and invested all their money into a melon sword and are unprepared for anything else if this collapses so they are desperately clinging onto keeping melons swords like they do to melon price chnages.

But of course it doesn't matter what we think about this matter. The staff and owner has decided so we have to wait until they tell us all the details.

I agree, If I buy shares worth in a million and that company goes bankrupt. The share's worth could be 90% lower. Same with the melonswords. I don't see hardcore economy here

I'm not going to argue with you about some real life problem, but why would Blockbuster need to have bought Netflix to survive? Because the world was changing. Also, you left out the fact that probably at this time Netflix was when they would mail our dvds to you, however when they went TV/computer/digital based, they did better, and this change also led to the decline of movie renting stores.

Speaking of technology, Apple and Microsoft aren't the best example of that. They've been around this long because we've been on a technology craze. And they may not be the best forever- Samsung and Google are following them. The point is, nothing should monopolize and probably won't monopolize a market forever, much like melons shouldn't monopolize the farming market forever. Change would be great.

But that's the whole point! Change will come no matter what. Change has always come to the ECC economy, without intervention. Just let the economy change as it normally would.

Are we dependent on farming? What good does it do more than pumping in endless money after you've paid off your melon sword, 15k an hour. No work involved, and it doesn't even get put to use. /sell all, you earn 15k. Mining, its different. It may not always be constant, it can change. We actually will need materials and there are no other alternatives to mining. It's important.

The whole point is the opportunity for change has come and nobody is willing to embrace it.

I'm sorry but it looks like you decided to contradict yourself and argue about a real life problem.

Also, I never said that Blockbuster needed to buy Netflix at any point in my post so your first argument completely lacks a point. Nobody is forcing them to continue working in their original ways, they could have very well adapted to the new market by implementing a system that worked just like Netflix's. Much like Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. Aswell, Apple and Microsoft are perfectly good examples for the point I was making, they survived this "world and market change" because they succeeded at innovating and adapting to it. They saw this "technology craze" as you call it, and used it to their advantage, which Blockbuster had the option to do too, but didn't. I'm pretty sure you know that iPads and iPhones don't exist since day 1 of the company.

And you should check your dictionary again because Melon Farming in ECC is probably the worst example you could have come up with for a monopolized market. Just like I said in my previous post, nothing is stopping you from going cocoa bean farming, pumpkin farming, or whatever it is you prefer to do for money while still getting a very competitive income.

Sure, it'll be harder, but 'easy' is a privilege Melon Sword owners have earned because of their initial investment.

~I failed at quoting you sorry. You are correct. The economy could work without farming. I do not think that is the point that I was trying to make. ECC pushed nstars as a form of currency that we may obtain by voting. This is where the real economy intersects with ECC's economy. ignore all text below here. i was having format issues on my phone.ng. ain by voting. This is where

Blockbuster and Netflix aren't the topic here. You all, owners of melonswords , don't want this change because it harms your icome. If the 1.8 changed in any way helping your melon farming all of you would have been okay with that change.
Don't be ridiculous, when you invest on something you can lose, that's real life= hardcore economy.
I'll repeat my exaple because I think it's much more clear than Netflix and Blockbuster:
If I buy shares worth in a million and that company goes bankrupt. The share's worth could be 90% lower. Same with the melonswords.

I did understand* more, but I have already presented my arguments in favor of keeping Melon Swords, aswell as many people have posted theirs, most of which I agree with. So although you seem to be very focused on me and my latest post, I assumed you had the capacity to read mine's and other peoples' previous arguments who were in favor of keeping melon farming the way it is (especially taking in mind that most of the people who are against Melon Swords bring up the same arguments you do), and because of that I wouldn't need to post them again, for which I apologize, because apparently you don't have the capacity or willingness to do so.

Nonetheless, I'm not gonna waste my time posting them again, as I know better that it would only lead to a long continuous argument in which most likely neither side would finally give in; so well, if you (or anyone else for that matter) really need my opinion that badly, you can try again and read my previous posts, as I don't really have anything else to add, other than that the official EcoCityCraft twitter account already said that Melon Swords would continue to be the best tool for Farming Melons, so you're beating a dead horse by bringing up again those old arguments...

    -----

On a side note, if you try to troll me I'll just instantly assume you have ran out of arguments and have nothing else important to say, so I'm sorry, but I think I'll find myself unable to take any of your future posts seriously.
