Minecraft Name: RagMan17
Suggestion: A Donation feature that allows a player to build a town that is larger than 200x200 on one application.
Reason: With the new lands and I would think the new influx of town applications that will come from this, I would love to see a donation feature that allowed a player to claim a much larger area than 200x200 on a single application. A simple double to 400x400 would be well worth a donation IMO.
Other Information: New donations would bring in more money for the server, new towns would drain Eco$ out of the economy. Players gain the benefit of being able to claim larger cities in the new 2.6million chunks that were added.
Link to this plugin: N/A. This would need a change in the appliaction rule, and thorough checking by Wewinagain when processing applications (to see if the person has the donation feature). With our new forums, maybe an award medal could be added for this donation to make it easier to see who has this donation at the time of their application. I know this happened for a short period when "landscaper" was a donation feature as well.
Post any opinions please.

Maybe be able to have a town in the aether with the donation feature.
-
Personally I think a Captain should be able to purchase a small 100x100 in the aether (that has not been built on by others. Especially since Captain's have no added benefits to the rank. The problem is determining what has been built on and what hasn't when plotting out and approving a new claim.
I've floated that idea in the staff chan in game a long time ago, but it never really went anywhere.

Ragman when you said one application is this a one time thing or you donate for it once and you can make your town 400x400 everytime?
-
Since I don't make the actual donations, I was leaving it up for debate and hopefully a decision by andrew.
I'd love to see where if you have this donation feature every town you make could be 400x400.
However, at the right price point of like $10 or $15 I could see this be a donation you could buy for each town or as needed.

So your suggesting you can buy a 400x400 town, for the price of a 200x200 town?

Do you pay the price for one single town, or do you pay the price for 4 towns, but make them one 400x400 town?
If it's the price for one single town, then this will NEVER happen, it's just too overpowered if that's the case. -
The reason for this is what benefit would a donation feature be if you paid $50 to the server, to then pay full price for 4 towns (or 2 towns) like everyone else.
Also considering a $50 donation could be sold for $250k+ no one would donate $50 to pay the standard rate for 4 towns.
----------------
If this is too convoluted to figure out then rework the original suggestion to:
$XX.XX Land Baron donation feature.
All towns from 3-16 now cost half as much.
towns 1-2 stay the same cost as they are for the ranks.
Total savings for this donation could be 5.6 million, if you spent 5.6 million and bought all 16 towns.

No! this is an awful idea IMO. Imagine how much money this would save multiple town presidents. Just imagine if a president with 13 towns were to buy this donation feature than purchase his 14th town. He would essentially be getting 3 free towns, and if you already have 13th towns that is millions of dollars saved!! This is would be way over powered, good thought, but i just think that the only people who would use this are multiple town presidents.

A 400x400 town is 4 times a 200x200 town. This would make the advantage of donators too big and would be unfair to non-donating players. Besides that, the towns would get way too big then and the map would be occupied too quickly. If you want bigger towns you should just work harder or create a partnership and work with someone else to get bigger towns quicker.
And this wouldn't drain more ecodollars out of the economy, as people would have to buy less towns to get the same result it would in fact decrease the drainage of ecodollars. -

A saving of up to 5.6 million ecodollars if far too overpowered.
I believe towns and ranks should stay in the currency of the economy (ecodollars). There are donations for everything, we don't want the server to be a full on, pay to play server. We already have enough donation features and you can buy ecodollars or features for others in exchange for ecodollars, if your short cash for a town.-
