I think you misunderstand something. For someone to get money from this system they would still need screenshots and proof that they were scammed.

As far as I know you have two posts here. I don't remember you being here before and im not looking back to check, but in these posts you blamed the victims for 2 reasons. For not getting screenshots and for trusting people. In this suggestion you would still need screenshots and proper evidence so that point is pretty much out the window. For your next point you pretty much just said it's their fault for trusting people. By your logic we shouldn't trust people and if we do trust people we run the risk of getting scammed and if we do it's our fault for trusting people. While it's true the only way to be sure to not get scammed on ecc is to not take part in player to player trade, that doesn't mean people shouldn't trust others and that trusting others is a bad thing. Besides just because the situation people are in could have been avoided it doesn't mean they shouldn't be helped.

 

... I'll say this for a 3rd time now... I said get screen shots, OR trusting a specific user who could wind up scanming you, you trade at your own risk, you should not be rewarded for you deciding to trust someone to earn an extra 30k from giving out a loan for example

 

1. As I said before you still need screenshots to get paid. Plus even with screenshots you aren't safe from being scammed so that point is pretty much out the window. 2. You aren't getting rewarded you were scammed and the server is giving you your money back idk where you got getting rewarded from. 3. I'll say it again yes you run a risk and yes you could have avoided being scammed but thats not a reason to not help someone just because the situation they are in could have been avoided.

The fact of the matter is is that it's your decision to trade, and if you get scammed, that's your own problem, not the servers. If you cannot accept that, then I don't even know...

 

Is it so terrible to help someone out?? Is 5% off lotto once or twice a week gonna bankrupt you? What does it matter who's fault it is that someone got scamed a few bucks out of your bal won't hurt you and its not even mandatory. What is your problem people? I don't play lotto but I would buy a few tickets if it helps someone out because im not a greedy sociopath.

 

Belive it is not, some peolle take advance of these kind of things, wether they use a multi account, or a friend who doesn't play the server anymore/at all. It's better to just not implement it, they trade at their own risk

2. It will, that's my money out of my balance that I don't want going out. The Spaniards under Phillip II's rule had a massive inflation problem due to too much gold, and outflowing money. Do you think they wanted money leaving their pockets? No, same with me.
3. I don't have a problem with people. The only argument that benefits this is that "I hate people". That's your only argument, and that's pretty sad as you have no evidence to back it up. Welfare, how'd that turn out? Not so good. Let's learn from the past.
4. If you want to help people, by all means help them. However, don't force people into doing this. $50 doesn't seem like much, but as tickets add up, it will be a lot more than you would think.
5. I'm not greedy. I have the right to donate if I want to. No one should be forced to donate to someone. If you want to, go ahead, but don't make others do it because you think it should be like that.

I never called anyone a "geedy sociopath" I just said I am not one and from my view some of the statements here look greedy and sociopathic, but that is my own opinion and if someone is offended by it too bad for them. You are right no one is making you do this but you are saying the rest of us also shouldn't donate because its the victims fault. Also you are taking this far too serious, Spaniards, welfare? I don't really think those apply on a minecraft server. It your money as you said don't donate but let other people donate their money. Inflation is not going to happen because of donations, inflation will happen if new currency is emitted (spawned in) in the server. Inflation is currently a problem but thats a matter for another time.

 

I'm not understanding this... why is it that this is still up? Usually a suggestion gets forgotten about then locked up and stowed under the floorboards. Will this battle just rage on until the naysayers give up?...
