1.) I know you have already addressed some of these issues. However you did not give a good enough reason for me to believe that the issues will not be that big of a problem.
2.) I didn't mean /ignore, i mean not responding to the mod at all. I don't have to respond if I don't want to. Also im pretty sure if there was a way for mods to override /ignore it would have already been implemented.
3.) Minecraft crashes alot more then you would think. Not everyone has a good pc, and not everyone can play minecraft constantly. Players will constantly leave the server and rejoin and players will still crash on occasions. You would be surprised on how unlucky players can be , crashing right when a staff member pms them.
4.) I still believe this is a troll suggestion.
You would think 100 replys in less then 24 hours would tell you that this suggestion is obviously not going to happen. -

I see many problems with this. There are ways to type things beginning with a "/" in chat. I assume the same could be done with a "."? And what if someone is in SG and unable to type it due to being chased? What if they're new to the server and don't understand or can't speak English? What if they're afk? It would result in pretty much everyone being banned o_O

Ok here's my POV on this.
Out of all the bans on ECC, only about 2-7% get banned for hacking (and 7% is going over the limit) and out of that percentage the chances of that evidence even being legit enough to get a user banned is rare as is. What about all the other mods that allow you to "exploit" the economy such as X-ray and fastbreak? Shouldn't we be worried about that too? Its not just about SG here. I understand that SG does make lots of money, and I understand that hacking is not okay here on ECC. However, why would ECC disable /r /qm and "&" codes just so users can type .hacktest? Honestly the moderators have alot of better things to do than to do /list and check off users who didnt't say ".hacktest". This is unnessicary IMO. A video is easy to get. Bandicam, things like that will do the job. Think someone is hacking? Then record them. Want something to happen? Prepare for it to be done. In this case, get evidence. Because as emau says, "Preparation is the key to success"
