Only authorized players can update shops using the mod now. Please apply here if you would like to do so.

Working on changes for v1.0.4a

• Server-side code changes to track and manage tokens assigned to players for updating shops, adding new shops, etc.
• Creating tokens for players who are authorized
• Distributing the mod and tokens to players whom are authorized to modify shop boundaries

The additional detail modal on the items table will show the player who last updated the shop.
This is determined by the token used when using the mod to update.

 

Preparing to release v1.0.5

• Added support for Main East!
• Bug fix: Removing shops will now also prevent the shops' items from showing up after search.

Expect down-time up-to 30 minutes.

 

I can add this.
For now just use the 'Add a Shop' contact, fill out the shop information, then in the description just state which sign(s) are not there, or if the owner is inactive, etc.

There is still a lot of development work to do on this.
I'll update this thread regularly with the status of the project.
Hoping to have this done for peak-time (summer break).


TODO:

• Expandable row filled with additional shop information (coordinates, last updated, etc).
• Implement page with a list of shops and shop analytics.
• Add contact forms for requesting that a shop be added/removed and for bug reports.
• Create page for viewing recent searches.
• Create documentation page(s).

If anyone has suggestions, now is the time that I am available to implement them! :)

Edit: Oh, and if there are any good graphic designers out there, I'm in need of a better logo. The one I'm currently using is not permanant, just one that I scrapped up to get started.

Update on status as of 05/03/2020

COMPLETED:

• Created page to view all added shops.
• Created page to view recent searches.
• Created authorization and authentication flow (users, sign-in, permissions, etc) using Auth0.
  • Helpers (those updating shops) and Moderators (those adding/removing/maintaining shops) will be able to register on the site.
  • This will give them access to a custom admin panel where they will be able to create/update/delete shops.
  • All modifications to shops, as well as recent updates, will be visible to all other helpers and moderators to keep track of which users are updating/modifying which shops.
• Helpers and moderators will have access to download a configuration file which grants them access to update shops with the mod. All updates are linked to the user and will be monitored for potential abuse.

I will be adding confirmation messages to prevent moderators from accidentally removing shops, etc.

There is not a list currently. I will work on creating one :)

P.S -
I know I've been a bit behind on adding new shops lately. I've been working real hard on this.
I'll play catch-up on these tomorrow or Friday.
When v2 rolls out, there will be more than just me adding shops so this won't be a problem anymore :)
