Honestly, I don't farm anymore because NOTHING is worth farming...
pumpkins: not really worth it anymore...
melons: need a sword which costs hundreds of thousands of dollars or 1000 NStars....
Wheat: decent, but still doesn't make you feel rich :p
Carrots: Same as wheat -Good with fortune 3
Potatos: Same as wheat -Good with fortune 3

I agree slightly with you Thecreator767 but some players do have decent computers that can manage but some peoples suck i agree, the point I am getting at is the fact that Andrew seems to only take into account the people with all of the money and not those who struggle to find any

I am one of the few who have farmed more than 5 million pumpkins, so I can say that I have quite a bit of experience.
As much as I would like to see pumpkins increase, I don't really think that would be fair, because if it was raised, I would be making around 30k per hour which honestly is way too much. I can prob kill the earning discussion with saying that I with 10 fps still manage to pull 20-24k per hour, so the earnings are quite good. As Andrew said the more experienced/better equipped players will always make more, and you might think that me making 24k an hour is unfair, but guess what? I have been making 5-10k an hour until I could buy fly and ext+ it's all about hard work. If you want to be successful both on ecc and irl, it takes a lot of hard work, and maybe for a few; extreme luck. So instead of discussing this just build a superfarm like mine, and when that is done you can make a consistent 10k an hour until you can buy fly, and then it's more like 15k an hour, so it's not very hard to Make pumpkins worth farming.-

Here is a simple solution.
I will only be telling this once, and once only.
Get a town.
Flatten it.
Make small farms with loads of floors.
200x20x(Sky to Bedrock) Cane, potato, carrot farms. Then another 200x20(Sky to Bedrock) Pumpkin.
Then another town, with a 200x200x9 wheat farm.
This is what i did.
Yet I'm still poor cause I'm stupid with my money.
Bye. -

Let's get back on topic. kukelekuuk00, was the pumpkin earnings different based on them only stacking in 64? That was the question of this post.

I think pumpkin prices should be dropped to 10c so you will all wake up and realise that you should just sell me bones for $2.50 each and make tons of money.... Silly sausages :)

kukelekuuk00, so you did make less!
What should they be raised to fix the profit?-

The fact is that the pumpkin stacking issue only affects those who fly (for what I can see). They make lots more then us pumpkin farmers who don't have fly. The fact that there earnings get reduced, I believe, is good for me and the economy (but perhaps not for them). I farm with speed potions and make around 15k/hour on a good day. I also must stop for e-repairs which is a hassle.

Ok, for 20k an hour according to kuke's testing, pumpkins should be raised to $0.75.
35 slots (other 1 has the axe) times 64 per stack=2240 pumpkins.
It took kuke 5 minutes to get this many, so 2240/5=448 pumpkins a minute.
Multiply 448 pumpkins by 60 (60 minutes in an hour)=26880.
So the equation for the price is 26880(x)=20000, where 20k is the optimum price, and x is the price for a pumpkin.
Then x = 20000/26880, which is ~0.744.
Round to the nearest 5 cents:$0.75.
Ta-da!
That's my reasoning.-

I think they should stay, raising pumps even more would just be making all other money making methods obsolete! -1 And I am probably saying this because I farm melons :p
