One later night
Notch was up in bed
Shivering with fright
Keeping his thoughts to his head

April 1st was around the bend
And he did not have an pranks yet made
So he used his great head
And thought of a way to scare everyone, even his maid

From within his brain
Came an idea so good
He knew everyone would be distraught and complain
With his devious mind he boarded his plane

Off he flew, to his studio!
Flying so fast
Some on board thought there were on a rodeo
His idea soon formed and his fears were in the past

He jumped off the plane with such grace
That he was only a blur
Some people thought he was in a race
He couldn't even be heard!

Once in his office
He got onto his laptop
Sitting in his comfy crevice
And got out his special backdrop

After an hour or two
Notch came out with his best idea so far
A trick that would trick his mom too!
He left the office and jumped to his car

He drove to the airport
He flew to his house
He put all his other work on abort
And went to sleep so soundly that you could even hear a mouse
