13k is what I can make per hour, and I'm fine with that. If anything needs changing, it's mining prices.

15k an hour is more than plenty, the price won't increase, ever.

 

Can we get a mining nerf instead to balance out the price difference? I don't like how a 500k+ tool makes the same as one that is 15k to make.

There is a simple solution, don't get a melon sword if you don't like the price of melons.

It actually is. If you're not satisfied, then don't get it. Also, eff7's don't have a set amount per hour, it's all luck. That's why the income from a melon sword vs. an eff7 are varied.

 

About a month ago, I did a test with a melon sword for 1 hour. I have e-repairs, and I farmed at /warp players, at /speed walk .585. (Chat Off) I made 12.7k. From what other Eff7 owners have said, they are able to make 20k+ an hour.

Either mining needs a decrease, or farming tools need an increase.

Farming is 1000% easier than mining. You get rewarded for working harder. It is like that for a reason.

 

Please don't insult me. It's not a the way to take things about on the forums. Also, let's look at the qualifications for maximum profit:
Melon Sword

• 550k for tool
• 50k for farm perms
• 500k for extcommands+

Total Money Needed:
$1,100,000

Efficiency 7 Pickaxe

• 150k for pyro+
• 600k for fly+
• 550k for tool
• 500k for extcommands+
• Also, the headache of finding an area of an un-mined area

Total Money Needed:
$1,800,000
*all prices adjusted at 5k/1 USD.

If you look at the numbers, you need about $800,000 more for safety and maximum profit with an efficiency 7. That's why it makes a little more. I'll reiterate my point again, if you're not satisfied with the price of melons, don't get a melon sword.

 

5k for farm perms...? Costs a lot more than that to get a good farm lol

they can be, depends if you want a good farm or an average farm.. good farms are 10-25k for perms

 

Farm perms to a good farm are expensive. Nobody should be farming at some crappy all crop farm. You will not see nearly as much profit as other good ones.
