^^ this, also if you look carefully the backgrounds aren't exactly the same as I did edit mine a bit to make the text stand out a bit more. Yes they do look very similar, but just a coincidence as that's the text style I'm using on all my designs.

 

I know it's not original, but why don't we just bring this one back? It's very nice and professional imo, definitely my favorite.

Nobody. I would refuse to accept a 250k prize for taking a couple minutes, looking up a link, and pasting someone else's work.

Odds are, though, the admins will pick a favorite, especially if a really good one comes out. Whatever, up to them to decide what to use.

 

why don't I change a little of it, then not accept the reward if chosen and then we could have that icon which would be different and everyone would be happy

 

Hmm... depends on how it looks ultimately to me. If it resembles the old one and has shading etc. then I might like it. If the font is a downgrade and so is the shading, then I'd definitely not want to see it. Sorry.
