Need new server logo. *Paying 250k*

Would you like me to make the icon with this font?

 

If we wanted to shake up this one:



to make it original again, I bet it'd look neat if the blue background was taken out, and replaced with a money background, perhaps something like this:

I personally don't like Gideon's one, the money background just doesn't really work with Minecraft or the ECC graphic on top of it.

Got any ideas on how to improve it?

 

Can anyone get me a good chunk of transparent background recognizable people from ecc? i.e. andrew/long time staff members/long time normal members that did something awesome/etc etc. tl;dr I think for ecc for a logo you want something simple, but something that also maybe highlights what makes the server... well, the server. In ECC's case, that either means the nether star (our own alternate currency) or the community. And I have to say the only reason I am ever around ECC is for the community, not for nstars or anything else really (except maybe the lottery sometimes). So I kinda wanna work on something like that but it would also take way more effort from scratch than I am willing to put in to be honest, especially since I don't really use money for anything but trivia anymore. Just my thoughts.

 

Make it original rather than taking an idea I guess.

I remember there being a massive collage of a number of user's minecraft faces which would make for a good background and represent community pretty well (Although it's pretty old).

Not trying to bash on anyone here but am I the only one that is bothered by the old low-resolution letters (yes I know it is only 64x64, but still it looks too blurry). It looks to be artifacting a lot.
