I disagree to the fact that people who have donated for mcmmo+, mcmmobonus+, and mcmmo levels would be upset that they have bought those features for no use (Since majority of mcmmo popularity comes from swords levels)

 

What we need is a better PvP arena, like a pit where you can't get out easily once you go in.

Firstly, the reasons why mcmmo abilitys are important to ecc's pvp...
What you seem to be ignorant of, are the advantages that mcmmo brings, it allows for a more diverse combat experience, you can tailor your abilities to your play style, you would train axes if you want to act as a heavy, and batter down your opponents armour to allow, once broken, a distinct advantage when you switch to far, or archery if you'd rather leave the heavy-hitting to your clan mates and support from afar.

Having mcmmo ability adds advantages to teaming with users who have trained different stats, it allow's a way to clearly differentiate one from another, and allows you to contort the battle to your advantage.

Another thing you seem to be ignorant of is just how much time users have put into training and refining there abilities, I know that myself and zardgyer have at least put... 50 hours in? Just for training, if you were in our situation, would you be happy that ALL the work and effort you put in has just been destroyed by someone who is entirely ignorant of your efforts, now wasted.

Only serves to highlight just how much empathy you seem to lack, you just insult the users who have /Dedicated/ themselves to training, you continue to barrage them with insults such as stating that there attempts are dumb and stupid, you then go on to some sort of... "compromise" where you state that it would still work in the nether... Do you have //Any// idea how little fights/killings happen in the nether, barely any!!! And for the extremely rare cases where there is a fight, it almost NEVER happens with users who are "stupid" enough to train mcmmo stats

You say you're trying to "bring back vanilla pvp" as if you say that this is some sort of issue worth the empathy that you so clearly lack, and yet, you've never been on ecc with vanilla pvp!! When I joined dec. 2011 there was mcmmo!!

You continue to say that all the fights will be fair without mcmmo, but let me tell you, despite my stats EVERYONE On the server with prot 4 can kill me within 4 seconds, , us users with higher mcmmo stats are nowhere near as overpowered you portray us to be

Your incoherent preach continues with the phrase "alot more members will come back"... Let me tell you, if you removed mcmmo you'd loose 10 people per ever 1 that came back, people don't come to ecc for "vanilla pvp" they come for our amazing plugins, community, and awesomeness, and NOT for vanilla pvp

You also say that the system is broken with the addition of purchasable level, yet have you ever seen how many people buy them, do you have any proof AT ALL that this is somehow "breaking the system" the amount of level purchased is MICROSCOPIC when compared to those earned!! This point is 100% invalid!

........wow... As stated before, skill is 95% of pvp as is right now! A single person with no swords can /easily/ kill me, someone who has 974 swords! Pvp is still about "this thing called skill" even moreso than vanilla!

Ndm, Harry explained his pointe very calmly. I expect you to do the same and not flip out at him in capital letters. I do understand the benefits of having a no-mcmmo pvp arena, we have 2 currently and barely anyone uses either of them, though those that do use Arena 1. Spliting up this already very small crowd into those fighting with mcmmo and those fighting without wouldn't help pvp.

 

And there's your problem, you say I "don't even pvp" as if this is some sort of way to invalidate everything I'm saying, and for the record, I do pvp, I care because this stuff MATTERS and yet you try to dismantle our arguments by saying that we have nothing to do with the subject, when infact. We do, as for your quote for the nether, I said that this would be meaningless as a compromise, as nether pvp rarely happens. As for "PLEASE MAKE SOME LOGIC BEFORE SNECING" since I have no idea what you're trying to spell with "snecing" all I can really say is try some of your advice, maybe it'll work

 

I may be just a lowly Resident but i think you just got told...

 

I think they should have all pvp arenas with mcmmo except for one for vanilla pvp so it would be fair to everyone.
