This. It's an economy server, not a dating website. People have had "marriages" before without the use of a plugin, so I don't really see the point of this.

 

As I agree with this,minecraft isn't a website. It's a video game.

This would cause so many financial issues if implemented fully... and as others have said, we're not ECCHarmony.

Don't worry everyone, soon the non-denominational cathedral epicure will be open as a venue for all your mc love connections via wedding or otherwise can will be celebrated with a lot of fun. Run by myself of course with some help. Better news yet we will also be running Oootopia's Quick 'n' Dirty divorces out of the side.

You may marry whoever or how many ever, this is celebration of love! There will also be free cake, hopefully some lotto at the reception. It's going going to be fun but won't need a plug in, just your mc luuuuurve.

All weddings and divorces will be recorded by me and so if somebody ditches someone they can be publicly outed as jerks.

To make money, get ranks, build towns etc. Plugin-based Marriage isn't needed for ECC, people can go ahead and do their own little marriage things (I think @Jackson_G14 has done this) but having a plugin just wouldn't work as it's just silly. Then you have the argument that it also offers things like marriage teleportation, which takes away from the teleport donation feature.

 

Pm me for free marriage low key advertising here. But yeah I do marriage services for people who wish to, shoot me an inbox. I don't see the need for a real plugin, but maybe a thread which records them? I honostly don't think enough people get "married" on the server for a plugin to be needed.
