This can include nations, farm cities and much more. These towns should be awarded free perks. Examples for free perks can be, free additions to towns (heal signs, portal, and warp), or free relocation, or ECD and or features.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: Since I've come back to ECC, I've noticed that town beauty is a real issue today. Not many towns are being built up, and everyone is away grinding. When I played in 2012-13 I would see the most beautiful creations and I want to see people continue that with a server sponsored event. This would be great and help motivate people to build up their town.Other information: This can be voted by the community, staff, andrew or just graded by an "inspector". People can submit their towns with screenshots and showcases to the community or staff.Plugin or custom addition: Probs not, but I don't understand plugins so well xD.One suggestion per form: I Understand.

I really like the idea but you said yourself that most people are away grinding and haven’t built up their towns. I would love to see something like this implemented.
Was this not a thing in the past? Maybe this was player run... Although I would say let the same town win multiple times- maybe people would then pick up the competition.
It was. We can make this player ran. Letting the same town win everytime might be an issue because people will start ignoring it.
I also remember this being a thing. There was also a newsletter with a wealth of other information as well. I am too old to remember the awesome player that did this, but I do remember sponsoring issues.

imo quarterly is way better and then just give the town some actual recognition - maybe some cash to put towards features/etc. Unclaimable shouldn't happen (at least... Not through what's ultimately a popularity contest).
i vote quarterly. how about make it a point system or raffle where the prize is awarded at the end of the year. a special prestige level (uhg) second purchaseable warp point, or lifting of some restrictions (ideas?) for the next year?
