With City comes a fresh start for projects! Hey guys, It’s that time of year again! Time to share with the community what projects I will be working on this upcoming year! This thread will be a means of updating the community and getting their feedback.

Note: All projects that were incomplete last year in Archive will not be included in this list. These include The Minecraftia Project and ECCMuseum.


P1.) The Cyan Empire

The most anticipated project from Archive, the Cyan Empire is a pure ECC project. Similar to the old Minecraftia Project, these towns would include many that will be for the community.

Included with this project:
~ A Spawn Town that will link the main Empire area and all other project areas
~ Areas that include aspects/old builds from the Minecraftia project, such as: a refurbished casino, etc.
~ The resurrection of the ECCMuseum Building
~ Spleef and PvP arenas
~ A Marketplace
~ Lots of amazing buildings and statues that are more for decoration
~ Player Plot Town (possibly)
~ Stable-Tec Headquarters


P2.) The Canterlot Project / Project: Canterlot

Straight from Project: Brohoof, Canterlot is the regal city in the MLP franchise. Here are some images from google on how it would look:

P3.) Project: Make This Castle a Home

Also known as Twilight's Castle, this is another from Project: Brohoof. It is a giant crystal tree and castle combo. This one I already have an image of from a single player map for a preview:

P4.) The Equestrian Wasteland

"The portal to hell is opened with the incantation of good intentions. War, war never changes, but neither does friendship." The Equestrian Wasteland was my project back when I worked on that old MLP server back in 2014, based off of the setting of the book, Fallout: Equestria, that parodies Fallout and MLP. My plans are to rebuild a good majority of my builds (or shall I say destructions) of these buildings that have been touched by Balefire.

P5.) Memorial Stadium

Oskee-Wow-Wow! Memorial Stadium is the football stadium of the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. And even better, the Marching Illini! I've spent hundreds of hours in this impressive stadium and would like to build this in MC someday.

Hello ECC, I haven’t posted here in a while. Been busy with all my end of the semester papers, spending well over 50 hours a week in our Undergraduate Library working on them.

Anyway, in my limited spare time, I did actually finish the bulk of the Rozbitá Kompasová Veža’s base section and started on its lower tower. As of right now, I am gunning to have the build done before 2019.

As for the projects as a whole, my sixth project has officially been confirmed personally and my seventh I’m still deciding if I want to do it or not. Sixth will be revealed soon and seventh as soon as I confirm it. Stay tuned.

 

The Lower Tower is nearly complete, and will have its own separate update message when it is, but I want to announce that I am so close to obtaining my presidential rank, and thus my second town!

This means that one of the other projects will be in process along side Cydonia! Who knows what it would be (well, I do lol)!

 

Update:

Rozbitá Kompasová Veža's Lower Tower is now complete:


After the bridge is finished, it will finally be time to tackle the highlight of this tower: the broken compass upper tower!

Also finished the bridges too. Didn’t think I would finish them for another few days.

 

Update:

The town of Canterlot is now obtained! Dual projects will now be taking place for both Cydonia and Canterlot!

Also, will be adding one or two more projects from Project: Brohoof soon (maybe)

 

Holy crap I forgot how big Canterlot was! It will be about nine towns big at least.

 

Great news

I waited a bit for this one so I can get confirmation on both of them, but two members from the ECCMuseum team have decided to help with The Canterlot Project: @VelvetRemedy and @Iamjustapony ! In talking with them, they are willing to let me buy their resident, Mayor, and President ranks for the project as long as they remain listed as owners.

The TL;DR, Canterlot has four of their expansion towns confirmed and drawn out already!

Thanks to @VelvetRemedy , Canterlot has gotten its first Expansion Disctrict: The Welcome District (Cantl_Welcome)!

Thanks to @Iamjustapony , we have a second expansion for Canterlot, the Gate District (cantl_gate). With this, we reached a pseudo end of the city on one side.

 

HUGE UPDATE!!!

Cydonia has had some big updates today:

For starters, Rozbitá Kompasová Veža has officially been completed! Only took a couple months

Before you ask, yes I know the "W" is missing. I messed up terribly and built the edge of the compass at the town border and not the compass tick. The owners of the town next over aren't sure yet if I can build over their town yet or not, but I have an idea that will work if not.


The next update is actually an expansion of Cydonia (who knew)
Since I have a lot of room behind the tower, I will actually build the Cyan Empire Shop there (or at least until the main Empire gets built). Stay tuned!

And finally, a warp will be coming soon!

Thank you @jmichael214 for the really nice compliment made in global! This means a lot to the project(s) coming from a legendary builder such as yourself.

 

We're back ECC! Well, as of this moment, only @Iamjustapony and I are back officially (Technically, he was the one who brought me back to ECC and our projects lol). @VelvetRemedy hasn't been online in a while and we're not sure when he will be back, if at all.

But anyway, updates! Yay!

Project: Canterlot is slowly getting back on its feet again. Only issue is my laptop with all the Single Player maps and all the rest of the data from the project is currently broken. It is not broken enough where data is lost, just that half my keys don't work anymore and it is slower than me before an 8am exam. Instead of repairing it, I decided to just get a new PC in the near future since this laptop is over 8 year old now.

Here is some good news though! We have a (technical) new player who will be assisting in not only this project, but every other project I have or might have in the future. Welcome @FalloutEquestria to the build team! He is my official alt account, and will easily be of great use to chill in different spots in the old archived world of Canterlot (and will reduce the lag of having two worlds open on one account).

And finally, Cydonia needs some love too!
In honor of the "Town of the Month" that happens once a month now, Cydonia will have some renovations and additions. Some noteworthy ones are: A revamp to the Cydonia Market by adding heads to the shop instead of item frames (which is basically done as of this post), a frigate behind the market called the SS Littlepip, and the Canterlot Airship (probably going to be called "Celestia" or "The Flying Sunbutt") that will be parked in the compass itself, ready to take travelers to Canterlot!

So yeah, we aren't dead, just busy being adults about to graduate college in less than a year. It's scary shit man. Enjoy your time as students kids, it will go by fast.
