I am not knowledgeable on the situation, but my point is, some users try to get banned so they will be spoken about, and be the talk of the day and such. I am not however saying that ike, or any others, have this way of thought. But some sad people out there actually do this.

 

Let us not escalate this thread. I think everyone needs to calm down and civilly compose their thoughts.

I know, it was only a reminder. I just want this thread to be as polite, serious, and professional as possible.

 

Several old users who have dedicated a lot of time and money into this server and have been friends of ike have been banned. These include
-jetscat
-pbrassat17
-glooble
-stolio
-sputnick587

They were banned for defending their friend who was banned for doing nothing, but NONE of them wanted to get banned.

The only thing close to people who want to get banned would actually be myself. I'm not trying to be, but I don't care if I am because I don't play anymore.

He insults my friends, I'm gonna get pissed.

 

No no, I wasn't insulting them? I was clearly stating that SOME, NOT ALL people think the way I stated. You flipped over nothing my man.

 

Also, we should focus on the underlying problems, instead of particular cases of them. I want these discussions to exist within the current forum rules. Thanks!

 

@thehockeykids2 - That is exactly my point, I am not saying that jetscat, stolio and so on where trying to get banned. You mis read my initial post.

 

No one gains anything from this thread getting locked...

As stated above, we need to be trying to put a step forward rather then talking about individual cases.
I know your friends have been banned but you are not the only one and not everyone is dealing with it in a way thats aggressive and abrupt.
I for one have know Ike a long time, and i am too sad that he has gone and i am also waiting for some answers before i can make my mind up on certain things.
But for now can we please try and keep things as a general rather then focusing on individuals, its a problem as a whole, not in certain cases.

I myself agree with MoofinK . I was busy during last week and wasn't able to be on much but when i got back all these things changed and I am a bit frightened just to even ask questions about them in fear or repercussions that might occur.

 

The whole reason any of this happened was because of andrews decisions with revanrose6. That's what really started it all. Then ike caused all of the other cases, and those combined equal the ongoing case.

edit*-a step forward?! you cannot ignore what has happened. When so many original members of ECC who have donated thousands and dedicated years of time are suddenly banned for nothing?! Don't tell me that we can just skip over that

Edit: I'm sure staff have their "reasons" for those bans but it would be nice to now what "reasons" are those. Otherwise it looks like you can do whatever you want. (Well, in fact you can but it won't work xd)
