+1 Fishing with a max rod makes me 3-4k rn

 

+1 fishing has always been a lousy way to make money and needs some looking into.

 

The mining or crafting part was actually a joke. Clearly there are many ways to make more money. Every way of making money has some degree of risk (yes, even farming, owning a store or town, and etc.) You do not need my vote to win this, so relax and enjoy a contrary opinion.

I'm not sure what your "that" refers to so I'm just going to respond with random statements. I didn't mention farming, but farming is more like fishing. Yes, you run a lot. It does take a lot more effort to get a good farm (or $2-10k for perms) - but then it's perpetual. Farming and fishing should be relatively equivalent in my mind.

As to trying to guess whether or not fish prices will get increased, my vote reflects my guess. I truly don't care either way, so please try to remain civil, kids. If Andrew's manipulating server prices based on popularity, then fish will definitely get a boost!

+1 I have a 700k star rod and a 7k max pick the pick makes me 3 times more per hour than the rod. It's crazy how little money fishing makes.

@Krobkins I think would also like this as she has tried fishing but didn't stay with it much for two reasons

1. It's boring
2. It doesn't make the cash like eff 7 mining does

Also +1 I really love fishing and never complain but am using a star rod and it still doesn't make good money compared to any other method.

Fishing is like watching paint dry - it's ok but with mining there is the unexpected around every corner. I try to like fishing but usually can't last more than 5 minutes. If the prices were higher it would definitely be a plus.:thumbsup:

-fish by listening to the sound while watching netflix or tv
-profit

But yes, I don't know why fish prices are so low.

@slipoutside blew all our sweet cash on a star rod and it cannot even approach the money you can make with a max pick. It's ridiculous and a fairly quick fix. Wouldn't it be amazing if we had another option to make money?

 

Yes. If only the SAs actually looked at this suggestion.
I know they're extremely busy, and I fully respect them for making ECC into what it is right now, but we need to pay more attention to suggestions---especially when there are great and outstanding ones like this.
