Accepted Increasing Fish Prices

+1 fishing makes me like nothing. Fished for about 5-6 hours and only got like $4.5k worth of fish (lure 3, luck of the Sea 3, unbr 3 rod).
If only the upper staff would actually look at this suggestion... It's not even that difficult of a config change. The thing that would take the longest is determining the average income per hour that should be acceptable for fishing and then deciding on new fish prices.

 

+1 Would love to see fishing get a boost. I've used a star rod for a few months now when I like to relax a bit and make some money, but it still makes nothing compared to all the other star tools you can purchase.

 

Aren't there already several open suggestions to raise the price of fish? Well even so, the price of fish definitely need an increase and fishing has never made a significant amount of money. Suggestions in the past have been declined because of the exp received from was more valuable than it is currently, However even when exp was really high in price Fishing never made more than farm or mining.

I have been pushing for fishing to get a buff in at least some part since I started doing it as a Moderator in 2013, it has been downright ignored or dismissed as unnecessary the entire time though. Other times it was declined to non-reasons. I have supported other threads in the past either declined or still open to get the ball rolling on buff fishing being drops or price per fish increase.

For the time spent Fishing makes pretty much the least money of basically anything you can do on ECC that can earn you money. Save for the Star rod owners no one makes anywhere near 10k/hr fishing, with the most common earning amount being 3k/hr or less and with a Star rod and current exp prices you would make a conservative estimate of 8-10k/hr(citation needed). You could argue that people fishing don't deserve to make as much as people farming or people mining because you don't have to pay nearly any attention to the game while fishing, and while that is true for fishing it is true for the others as well.

While this suggested increase isn't a whole lot, it would certain be a step in the right direction to get the ball rolling in the right direction. So this is definitely a +1 from me. However if we're being honest here, this is probably going to be closed with no consideration put forth or just ignored entirely.
