This shoe is the only one of it's pair that I have. I was out exploring some falls in Duluth, MN and got carried away with the fun. So we went down into the falls to swim and take pictures (Which happens to be my ecc profile) and when we were leaving I reached for my right shoe and the breeze knocked it off the branch. It fell into the current and we weren’t able to recover it-rip shoe.
This has been a fun tradition in my family since my sister and I were little. We’d have calendars for every month of December and each day we’d pull out a surprise chocolate out of the number according to the day of the month. Might’ve been the reason to all the cavities in grade school lmao
This sea shell was bought from Florida about a few years ago. Florida has been my families main vacation spot for quite some time as we have family over there. I love the warm weather and miss it a lot especially living a winter in Minnesota lol. Although, we haven’t been there in a couple years-but I’m sure we’ll be back soon (Last summer was a trip to Colorado).
Forgot the signs oof here's a retake with the shoe if it will count for them all-

Three items: Dog (Savanna), Christmas Tree, Presents
Story:
Savanna's first Christmas was an eventful one. The year was 2011 and she was obsessed with chilling in small areas. As you can see, there is an area behind the tree that she can fit in. However, we usually keep a wall of presents in front so she doesn't get back there, but one day, we left a hole by accident and she went back there. We couldn't get to her, so we just let her sleep back there. She must've accidentally knocked an ornament off and it landed on her head because she suddenly got scared and darted away, unlocking the tree base. Thankfully we caught the tree before it fell, but it still took all three of us to try to get it back up.
Now she is seven and more mature, just chilling in front of the tree.
Edit:
I forgot to add my username paper, but here is the one of just my dog with my username

Long ago... In the past... (approx one year and 2 months ago) a young Olympians ventured into new territories! He had enrolled to Herobrines Academy for A-levels! Now, this poor young warrior had unknowingly entered what would be one of the greatest challenges of his life. Herobrine had given him multiple booklets to study! Including the dreaded & cursed devolution booklet that no-one had ever stayed awake long enough to finish!
Now, all hope was not lost for young Oly, as a spirit of the Oak forest had followed him from his home to the academy, where they learned how treacherous the academy really was! The spirit, filled with rage took pity on Oly and gave him a magical box of chocolates from the land of Cadbury's, a gift that would enable him to get through the mountains of work he had been given! But alas! That was not enough for herobrine had added more work, intent on capturing the young warriors time (which was the most expensive thing to sell in all of ECClandia) and the spirit was stuck on what to do.
And then! The great artist (Andrewkm) himself rose from the chocolates, conveniently labelled heroes, which had a portal in it (but that story is for another time) and gave Oly the power of a Playstation 4 and the ultimate prize, Netflix! This enabled Oly to get through the work and stay awake long enough to play on his favourite game!
The end.

The year is 2050, winter is upon us, and dogs have taken over the planet. Mr. Ruffers, the new president of the Canine Era is in his home celebrating winter time with his favorite cup of Joe from his very own Starbucks machine, while his cute puppies rejoice in the Christmas spirit by hanging up their favorite stockings and decorating the house with festive items. It then dawns on Trey_B that dogs have seemingly replaced all human beings and their lifestyle. Trey is in awe after coming to the revelation and immediately wakes up from his dream and realizes that the picture hanging on the wall is a mural of his late dog Kevin Ruffers, who passed unfortunately due to a car accident. Trey then walks over to grab a cup of coffee to wake himself up after realizing that he has to go to work soon. Trey hangs two stockings every year: one for himself and one in remembrance of Kevin (left stocking).

Since my living place is basically my car lately (not literally just running a lot) I’ll do a few things from there
This is my girlfriends hair brush that she refuses to take out of my car and continuously gets hair everywhere. I didn’t know it was possible to have this much hair.
This is a little charm from a friends recent trip to Israel. Pretty awesome and there is a meaning behind it that I already forgot.
My trusty dusty flashlight. It’s pretty simple but the amount of times I or someone close has broken down, it’s truly been a lifesaver.
Having issues formattig on mobile sorry. -
The chest was simple, not anything anyone would expect to find treasure in. It was not sturdy, not gilded with shiny gold or precious jewels. It had no lock, no way to defend itself from grasping hands.
When the thieves came for our livelihoods, they took the safe behind my fathers desk. It was smooth, hardy. It contained money, yes, and it contained important things. But not the most important things.
They ignored the worn chest with no lock, not even deigning to rustle through. Worn books, they scoffed, maybe an old doll or rotten wood toys. Why would anything put anything of value in that old thing? It was fragile, barely worth the wood used to craft it.
In the chest lay pictures, memories more important than anything the thieves could take. Pictures of generations before us, pictures that could never be replaced.
I clutch Molly closer, smoothing her stringy red hair. Mommy and Daddy are fighting again. "Don't cry, Molly," I whisper. My face is wet. "It'll stop soon. Stop crying."
Molly doesn't answer. Daddy says I'm too old for toys now, but I can't get rid of Molly. She's my friend. I love her more than anything in the world.
"You won't leave me, right?" I hold her up and look her in the eye. "You'll always be here. You never hit me."
The fighting stops with Mommy storming out of the house, saying she'll stay at a 'friends'. I'm alone with Daddy. But Molly's here, and she'll protect me.
One of my cats, may he rest in peace. He was fat and lazy, pushed his sister around, and always stole the best part of my bed. I'll miss him always.
He and Star (His sister) used to do this thing where they groomed each other and it would ALWAYS lead to a fight. Not playful fighting either, full on hissing and rolling around and growling.
Not really a story, but eh.
EDIT for disclaimer: Yes, the first two stories are fiction. -
Here is Gords, he showed up at my house about 7 years ago. We fed him and he never left, he's an outside cat so he always wanders around outside, down the street. But he was always back when I came home from school. Eventually we took him to the RSPCA to see who owned him. We found out that he lived not just down our street, but beyond that. We went to his house and found a big, fat, black cat in the window, we knocked on the door, talked to the lovely lady and she gave us Gords as the black cat would always fight him out of the house. And that's the short story of how Gords became my cat.
The time traveling Vegemite box
Once upon a time, there was an emu, a very curious emu. He decided one day to go for a long adventure outside his territory. He stumbled across a box, it was covered in some sort of jar, a Vegemite jar. He decided, that he would get in the box, maybe furnish it, turn it into a nice kitchen. There was a loud pop and the emu poked his head out of the box, he wasn't in the same place. He was wobbling from side to side on top of a power line, the emu decided to never ever trust the holy power of the Vegemite again.-

Every Christmas, my family and I create a Christmas village with the St. Nicholas House Collection. My parents have been getting at least two new houses every Christmas since Kohl's first introduced them. We are up to nine different tables and at least a hundred different houses.
It slowly became a big tradition in my family and every year, both my extended family and the community love to come in and view them (It became something of a tradition for the town too).

During the holidays, my family and I decorate our house with flowers, this is unique to my specific culture because we use flowers as a medium to promote life, honor the dead, and serve as good luck with the rest of the year coming to a close as well with the new year. Each different flower represents something different to my family:
Poinsettias: Represents Christmas as whole and shows our thankfulness for the life we live and how blessed my family and I are. They represent hope for the future as well as we go into the new year.
tropical flower arrangement: Orchids, bird of paradise: these flowers represent happiness and selflessness. We strive to be a tight-knit family and love one another and sometimes we need a reminder of how much we love each other. This also serves as a reminder to be selfless and give to others as it will spread good karma.
Chrysanthemums, Lillies, carnations etc.: these flowers are of in remembrance of my grandmother. These were some of her favorite flowers and she instilled this tradition into my mother who has passed it down to me. Flowers serve are a great way to honor those who have passed that we love and serve as closure/positive feelings.
Hope you guys like my tradition.

This is our Christmas Countdown Calendar. This is an old relic of my mother's that was passed to us when my mother passed away. The children love taking turns "moving the mouse" and "It's almost Christmas when we get to the 1!" (quote from Lil_Tex1000, my four year old son). It was a tradition for me when I was young and now my children get to participate; it's very bittersweet. I miss my mother, and this is something I feel is unique for our family and will be another thing to continue her memory.
I also want to add these as these are definitely my mother's tradition. These are Tiara cake pans. I don't know anyone who owns pans like these. My mother every year for Christmas would make several Chocolate Cherry Tiara cakes with these to give out to her friends and loved ones. The cakes would be made in the pans, then flipped over and spread with chocolate frosting and topped with cherries; a gorgeous cake and delicious too.

Pavlova is a meringue dessert with a crisp crust and soft, light inside, usually topped with fruit and whipped cream. This dessert is a popular dish and an important part of the national cuisine of both Australia and New Zealand, and with its simple recipe, is frequently served during celebratory and holiday meals. It is a dessert most identified with the summer time and popularly eaten during that period including at Christmas time
It's summer over here, can't forget our special little twist on Christmas decorations ;)
Didn't have any way to physically put my name in the picture at the shops, my b.
Welcome to Coles Little Shop. These miniature food items have sprung up in Coles stores this year, for every $30 you spent at Coles, you would receive 1 mystery item. Earlier this year we saw 30 miniatures come into stores. We saw Milo cans, Vegemite jars, weet-bix boxes, yogurt and many other items. Australia went crazy for all of these, they were being sold for 100s of dollars for the full set (Yes I also completed this set too ;)) After all this died down, we thought it was the end of little shop, but we were wrong. Coles announced a Christmas special to the little shop and yes, I collected all of those too. In this set you see some classic Christmas items, pavlova, fruit mince pies, a gingerbread man, some Coles brand gingerbread ice cream and some Christmas crackers.
