Alright lets wrap up this small flame war. Hilv made a very well written guide for new and incoming players but he does not yet understand some aspects of our server and the comments on his post don't show kindness or willingness to help him understand these topics.

Anyway, hilv It's great you're making a thread like this, but.. it's incredibly difficult to understand, and without splitting things up in paragraphs and without grammar/punctuation it becomes just a large block of text.
It's difficult to read and understand, and a lot of people won't even bother reading it.
Even the post 12345shane made still has the core problem where it's just a large colourful block of text.

I would really suggest you learn how to write regular articles, it will be of great help if you decide to make more posts like this, or even when you're in highschool/college.
Being able to write articles/tutorials that are easy to understand is a skill that will be incredibly useful in life.

Well, if hilv felt like slapping some grammar fixes and paragraph structure, and of course, correct info, I would indeed be happy to add it to the list of tutorials I've made.

Been on the server for 3 days, to anyone reading this ignore at least half of what he said.

 

After just reading through this entire forum thread, I noticed how Hilv is a bit sensitive. Hilv, I am not trying to be mean or anything, please understand that right now. I am only noting that most of the commenters here are critiquing your thread to make it BETTER, and not for ANY OTHER REASON. You are acting as it is a bad thing. I'm sure that if the tutorial was polished, it would be a very helpful read for builders. However, you should not overreact just because someone is trying to help you. Agreeing with Kuke, this tutorial could be much more helpful if it was polished. hilv, don't take this the wrong way, but clarifying a few things and patching up the grammar would do wonders. Falconaire, do you agree?

AnotherBrother I am brand new to the game and server and am a builder. I am reading the forums to learn how to play :) so ya! This thread has potential but I agree with everyone above that criticized. It was very hard for me to make it through the original post. Good effort though!
