Time to fix the grammar:

Hi, My name is Mayor[$$]Hilv. And I am here to help you guys get setup on ecocitycraft so you can find out how to enjoy it. Every new person that join this server gets 0$. Now, when you first enter you should ask someone in trade about somewhere to build. There are warping signs that warp you to the mining world in the spawn. But you can not lock anything in the mining world, and watch out people can grief your stuff and you can not do anything about it . And pvp is denied in the mining world as well, that can be a good/bad thing if you are a big fan of pvp.
Now I am going to tell you some rules about us that can make you get: kicked/tempban/permban
1. Please no spam in any of the chats doing this alot can lead up to a kick or tempban. 2. No saying Cuss words repeatedly, that is something you can get kick/temp/or perm ban for if you do it so many times. Now i am going to talk about the griefing laws. You can grief in 3 types of worlds Wild/Nether/Mining world, but you can't grief in towns or the aether and the aether is not the mod kind. Time to put rules aside for now. Who can you go to for help? Me, Hilv, I play a long time everyday on the sever. And Mods or other high ranking players like me, high rank(s) will be happy to help you out. And if your wondering how to get free gear use these commands: /kit starter, or /kit flint i think thats how you spell it. Like hunger games or PVP? We have both of those! Both are at the spawn, Hunger games is by the enderchest and pvp portal is by the skeleton heads. I am also going to be giving you some mining tips later in the guide.
So now I am about to tell you about the towns and lotto. Let's start with towns. There are a lot of great towns to join, you can even make your own but sadly you need mayor to do so I will be talking about the types of ranks later. There are many sizes of plots to buy, 10x10 plots are worth 1-1.5k 15x15 1.5-2k the bigger the more money they are worth. You can find the town portals at the spawn as well. We just got a new look to the town portal room so go check it out. Ok, lets move on to lotto! It costs 1k per ticket, and you can buy 1 from doing /lot buy [# of tix] or /lotto buy. You always wont win but good luck if u ever pick to play lotto and you can do /lot to view how much ecodollars are in the pot. If there is a lot of money in the pot say 1million, be smart and don't throw 1 ticket in, 99% of the time you would lose it. Now this part will be for how to make money the best ways i know. Save up all the money you make, Farm sugercane, cocoabeans and nwarts or pumpkins. Remember, save your stuff up and get more Eco$. Mine for iron, coal, and lapis, oh and butter A.K.A GOLD and some redstone. It all adds up trust me. You can auction stuff by doing /ch auc. Note: Always leave it when you sell ur items there are more chats zones to join /ch d, /ch l, /ch g, /ch n, /ch s, /ch a, /ch tr, /ch p. Anyways, 3 last ways of money making are begging, voting, and lotto Now to talk about ranks.
Builder is the start rank. Resident costs you 15k, mayor 85k and you get a town when purchasing it, you must post its coordinates. Up to president which costs 180k and you get another town with it, and tycoon is 500k but no town, and ecoleader is 1million but no town. You need Mayor+ to fill out a mod/staff app. As well you need to apply for nether and aether to unlock /ch n and /ch a and these can only be used in the world they are built for. I'm sorry but this is completely terrible...
1. Make sure you actually know what you're talking about
2. Grammar.... It's rolling in its grave right now
3. Mayor is not a high rank
4. Why would you suggest /kit flint without explaining its use
5. Listing the colored wool paths is much more helpful
6. Discuss spawn shops/player operated shops
7. Most plots that I've seen go off of a X x Y x 12 formula ex. 20x20x12= 4800
8. Free builder only towns
9. Colors are overused
10. You need to be staff to do /ch s
11. BEGGING PISSES PEOPLE OFF!!!
12. You need to be in the mining world to use /ch m
13. Its actually possible to mine diamonds :O
14. Lotto is really not a stable way for new players to make a quality income
15. Melon farming

If you have bad grammar you won't be successful in school,
No school = No college/university
No college/university = Poor, no job (unless some low paying job like cashier)
Poor, no job = Short life (and not a fun one!)
Short life = The obvious.

Grammar is as important as math, the most important things to know would be Math and English/Grammar as they are the ones you will use the most in life (depending on the job you'd like) and they are used for everything. Learn them early so you don't have to later. Yes, this is a game. But just because it's a game doesn't mean it still isn't part of life. Act like video games are your everyday life, you wouldn't have bad grammar in real life would you? Well, maybe you would but I'm not one to say. Anyways, yeah. Grammar is very important, video game or not.

Edit: Also no one will know what you are talking about or what you are trying to say... Pretty much the comments above mine.

 

You would care about grammar if you wanted the new people to know what to do...

To be honest hilv, if you can't communicate a proper thought that flows well and is genuinely helpful, you shouldn't be posting a "tutorial" post. This was packed full of misinformation, if you could even decipher the text anyway. New players are going to be left more confused that anything after reading this; grammar, spelling, structure, all of that is extremely important when posting. If you really want to help, I'd advise using Shane's post as a proper example of what a good tutorial thread should look like, and trashing what you've already done.
