HELP WANTED:

2. Manager, the Builder Building, Lancaster
3. Co-Mayor of Town of Morecambe
4. Co-Mayor of Town of Westcaster
5. Co-Mayor of Town of Aberdeen
6. Second Co-Mayor of Town of Southcaster
7. Co-Mayor of Culvercity
So, I own all of the above. And I love building towns, and I don't much like running them. In fact, I don't like it at all. I want to be building, and leave the day-to-day management of the towns to others. I had the greatest Co-Mayor ever in Lancaster, @eyesee3, but he's taking a sabbatical. I have a great Co-Mayor in Southcaster, @voltair42, but he's taking a vacation. The towns listed ab0ve, along with my private home town, Eastcaster, make up my portion of the City of Lancaster, a 13-town region in Rising. Maybe you would like to come work for me?
What's in it for you? One-half of all plot/condo/apartment sales in your town, and let me tell you -- at the moment, the only two towns selling plots are sold out. My land sells as soon as it opens up, because Lancaster and Southcaster are in demand. Westcaster and Aberdeen are being laid out now, and will be full of vacant, large plots. All these towns touch each other. I make a fortune off of land sales -- I'm willing to split it with co-mayors to get the workload down to manageable levels.
Your job? Sell plots/condos/apartments/whatever is in your town. Maintain screenshot records and on-site signs marking all property and players' agreement to the rules. Monitor your town for grief and promptly investigate. Help beautify your town, and help make it a nice place for players, especially new players. Keep track of inactivity, and remove, LWC and demolish homes of inactive players, then sell those to active players. Unless you're the Builder building manager, in which case you're doing the same things with a self-contained 16-apartment building for Builders in downtown Lancaster. The Lancaster Co-Mayor has the heaviest workload, as downtown Lancaster is the hub for the entire 13-town city. The Culvercity Co-Mayor has the lightest workload, as Culver is a 100x100x4 town farm, and one merely makes sure all Lancaster players are members, checks for grief and maintains the farm. Culver applicants should suggest how they would like to be paid.

I am not selling these jobs to anyone, and I do not expect a monetary investment from anyone chosen. Nor will offering me money improve your chances.

Do you have any past co-mayor experience?: I have been a comayor on steveshizzle's town La_Ciudad for over a year. I'm not as involved with that town as I used to be though.

I should also add ... central Lancaster is laid out on a well-designed plan, ground-wise -- but everything above ground level just sort of happened as time went on. Architecturally, it's a bit hit-and-miss -- there are some great things and some not-so-great. This does give it a certain charm that more centrally planned towns can lack, but it also sometimes makes it a little unimpressive for the center of such a big city. So ... if this post should spark the interest of any of ECC's more talented town-builders ... Lancaster proper could use the Extreme Town Makeover treatment maybe.

Do you own any towns yourself?: Yes, I have complete ownership of my main town called SkyCastle. I also control additional towns called DemeterParadise and ChocoCraft. Skycastle is my home, and is a private town. DemeterParadise is being run by oxwood2 currently to create a builder town. ChocoCraft has been gifted to the Staff Team to be made into what they see fit.
Do you have any past server staff experience?: Yes, I have been on the ECC staff team twice.
Do you have any past co-mayor experience?: I have assisted in the creation and day-to-day management of numerous farm towns.
Do you have a ban history (this is not an automatic no, things happen)?: Yes, mine is slightly extensive. However, none of my bans have been for scamming or harassment. In addition, I have not had any recent bans, and many users have commented on my reforms. Even the prominent staff member KMaxwell believes I have completely changed as a player on ECC.
What do I need to know about you that I haven't asked?: I don't really play anymore with a specific goal in mind. I've sold all my star tools and only have sole ownership of one town as of now. I'm looking for something to do with my playtime that will be fun, rewarding, and helpful.

Incidentally, I won't be rushing to fill these positions, and when I do fill one, it will be mentioned here and on the Lancaster thread. So if you've applied here and haven't heard from me, don't think I've lost interest or missed your app. This is a long-term project of finding the right people for me. :)
And to those of you who sent me forum pm's in spite of the fact that it clearly says "Interested? Post here?" I have a very rules-based management style. If you don't follow a direction as simple as that, chances are we wouldn't get along, so working with me wouldn't be very much fun for you. -

Do you have any past server staff experience?: Yes, I was co-owner on a few servers for a few months on each server. I was also run my own server (no ECC staff experience though)
Do you have any past co-mayor experience?: No, I have only been a mayor.
Do you have a ban history (this is not an automatic no, things happen)?: I have been banned before for teleporting someone into pvp when they stole someone's eft 7 (I was trying to get it back :p ) and I was banned for suspected alt account (I appealed and was fine)
