I hopped on ECC a week ago and somehow or another I ended up singing! It was a blast, people enjoyed it, and I was told about this competition. I realized that this would be a really fun thing to do so I thought I'd try out!
Why do you deserve to win:
Singing in choirs, musicals, and various Teamspeaks over the past year I have a broad range of voice and talent.
What are you going to spend the money on if you win:
Probably something!
Do you play your own music. If so what instruments:
I play music all the time. I play Piano, Ukulele, Guitar, Didgeridoo, Shofar and Kazoo. Of course I sing too.

I'm just an ordinary guy who uses music to escape from his life. I'm thinking about starting a band when I get into high school in the next few months, but for now, its just singing in the shower for me!
Why do you deserve to win:
I've been practicing for a long time and want to get "out there" in the recording community.
What are you going to spend the money on if you win:
Towns. Lots and lots of towns.

No, I mainly do vocals.

How long have you been singing for:
8 years including this year.
How long have you been on ECC:
Almost 16 months
What is you story:
I got into music from my grandfather, he sang in a renowned barbershop group before he passed a couple years ago. I started singing in choirs in the 4th grade and today I sing in 4 different groups (1 concert choir, 2 show choirs, and 1 vocal jazz group). I also learned to read and write music when I was around 11 and 12 and taught myself how to play piano.
Why do you deserve to win:
I think everyone applying has as much chance as winning as I do but if I had to pick something, I'd say I deserve to win because of my vocal range (I often flip between singing low bass to high tenor) and my vocal smoothness like that of the love child of James Earl Jones and Seth Macfarlane.
What are you going to spend the money on if you win:
I have a ton of future plans for building my ECC Nation as well as goals such as obtaining a spawn shop and a melon sword
Do you play your own music. If so what instruments:
I can play piano and I also do vocal percussion
What are your audition songs:
1st (acapella)- Sicut Locutus Est (Classical Latin- will that be allowed?)

10. Voice changing or altering software such as auto tune is highly illegal, unfair and disappointing. Anyone found to be tampering with audio will be subject to the $1,000,000 fine. unfair rule because my voice for autio sucksunles if you don't judge by that

Are we allowed to apply as a group team, and have one of us sing one song, one the other, and the other song as a duet? So you can hear our individual voices and together.

Also, is the entry fee per - person? Meaning if I have a group of 2 people is it 10k?
