To celebrate EcoCityCraft's 10 year anniversary, I'm running a series of "media/art" events :D
This one is a Video Contest. You'll have about five weeks to make your entry, choosing one of the options below. You may of course submit one entry from each category, should you choose to :)
All users who enter will get 1 ticket into Clar's raffle. However, if you want more, you gotta make something so awesome that you get one of the top 3 places in the contest :D
The Options:
1. A commercial for ECC
To see the criteria, please click the spoiler:A. Must obviously represent a commercial for ECC; describe why ECC is the economy server they wanna join NOW!
B. One of these two styles: "radio" style (just voice) or regular video style.
C. Be humorous; everyone enjoys a good parody or videos poking fun at things ;)
D. Try to keep it between 90-120 seconds (a minute and a half - two minutes; average length for a decent commercial).
2. A trailer for a movie about ECC
To see the criteria, please click the spoiler:A. Have a beginning, a middle, and an end in the trailer (since you're not actually gonna make a movie, at least show these elements in the trailer).
B. Have a theme (comedy? horror? adventure? etc).
C. Try to keep it between 2 to 3 minutes.
3. A slideshow/video scrapbook commemorating the last 10 years of ECC
To see the criteria, please click the spoiler:A. Show your favorite parts of ECC over the years.
B. Have at least 10 pictures.
C. Collect content from as far back as you can (if you only joined after the October 2018 reset, please try to ask a friend/player who's been around longer to show you around Archive if you can, or ask a friend/player to collect pictures from places on there if you cannot access /archive).
D. With each picture, have a short description of what the picture is (is it a popular shop from back in the day? Is it your first town? Why is it important to include?).
The Duration:
As I mentioned at the beginning, this contest will run for FIVE WEEKS, so from March 7th to April 11th. Entries will be open until 11:59pm EST on April 11th. Judging will be from April 12th-April 14th, and prizes should be handed out on April 15th :)
The Prizes:
1st-
$40 ECC giftcard, 25 raffle tickets, 10 spawner keys on a server of your choice, plus a one-of-a-kind lore'd item!
2nd-
$30 gc, 20 raffle tickets, and 7 spawner keys on a server of your choice!
3rd-
$20 gc, 15 raffle tickets, and 5 spawner keys on a server of your choice!

Here is my submission! I am not and have never been a member of the E-C-C moderator/adminstrative/or developer team, so I have no idea what the new big changes andrewkm has been teasing entail or even if they are real. I simply thought a trailer for E-C-C 2.0 would be a fun way to approach this project. Perhaps by the time my video is judged we will know more than what we know now. #hypotheticalinfo.
P.S there is an e-c-c themed easter egg in the video, first user to find it gets 100k.

That isn't an old area its part of the current lobby server. Not it.
That was just part of the texture pack I used back in the day vs now
@Karin_88 guessed that too. I guess it is a bit of an easter egg but not what I had in mind.
You did not find my hidden secret in the video, but you did correctly hit on the hint item in the post -
E on large white building , what looks like a C in the distance in the nether and the C in Lancaster spells out E-C-C

What I am looking for is something that spells E-C-C, though not that -
I think I see ECC on the sign NEXT to moofink but the video won't render in clear enough for me to zoom in lol
