Woooo, it is finally here! EcoCityCraft's 10th year of being online! Wow! A full decade. There definitely isn't many servers(if any) that have survived so long. Nor have thrived so well either! The forums were opened in April of 2011, but the actual server was live and running in March of 2011. There have been many years of ups and downs, people have come and go. However there are some people who still play today who have been playing the entire time ECC has been online. 10 years is a HUGE milestone, and we are going to celebrate it! During this month we have lots and lots of things lined up for you all the participate and enjoy. EcoCityCraft Festival Events Town: Spoiler: Events Town Information Oh yes, we're back! Featuring another event town complete with fun activities where you can win prizes, crate keys, lore'd items, EcoDollars and tickets for the raffle(more on that in a bit). Event Town Rules: Don't be a dick, be courteous and respectful to your fellow players. Obstructing, disrupting or in general ruining the event experience for others will result in town bans from the event, this includes excessively rude chat as well as breaking any of the games on purpose to stop others playing. The length of any ban is at my discretion. Don't cheat. This goes without saying, if you are caught playing the games in any way other than designed or cheating the games to earn more than your share of prizes you will be town banned. Offenses will result in a ban from the event - which will be permanent and it also includes a wipe of Raffle Tickets. Do not do it. Location: /warp festival on MAINNORTH (/mn). The ECC 10 year Anniversary Town features several games where you can win prizes, collectible items, crate keys, ECD vouchers or raffle tickets for the Anniversary Raffle! Each of the games will require a token to play. You can get your daily tokens by simply doing /kit tokens. This command will only work on the MainNorth server! You get 10 tokens a day, every 24 hours! The town will host several random games as well as a few competitions throughout the month! Games: Slots: *NEW* Alright gamblers, your requests have been heard. The festival town features six slot machines where you can risk your token for a chance at some Raffle Tickets! These slots work just like the ones at /warp hit, or /warp cove do, however it will cost you tokens to play, not ECD. Try your luck and see if you can score big on tokens for the day! Good luck! Archery *NOT NEW BUT DIFFERENT* Archery returns to the event town, HOWEVER we have re-built the game with new mechanics and more of a challenge. There are 75 buttons, but only 25 are hooked up to dispensers, it is down to you to try your luck and see if you can hit any of the 25 buttons that will drop a prize for you. Each game gives you 1 minute to try to hit as many of the mystery buttons as possible. Once the game ends the door will shut and your game is over. Good luck! Rollarcoasters *NOT NEW, BUT DIFFERENT* This time we are featuring THREE Rollarcoasters to be played. Sky Islands Coaster: This is considered the hardest coaster, featuring a collection of beautiful Sky Islands lined with both dispensers on the track as well as button-targets for you to shoot at to win prizes. This coaster is about 2.5 minutes long, and is stocked with higher tier prizes due to its difficulty. History Coaster: Built by @TankNoodle with help from @JRigz, @HypeDav This coaster takes you on a steep underground tunnel featuring snapshots of the 10 years of ECC history we have to offer. Loaded with on-track dispensers you can expect to win a small tier of prizes and potentially *some* raffle tickets in this coaster while enjoying a snapshot show of 10 years of ECC's history. Forest Coaster: Built by @Imaginex This is considered the *medium* coaster. Featuring the most on-track dispensers and a few button targets to be hit for better prizes. Enjoy the calming scenic ride through the lovely forest surrounding a great oak. Dropper Game *NEW* Built by @LimeLush Do you like skydiving? Then you will like this game. Costing you a token you have the opportunity to drop from the top of the arena and fall through as many of the rings as you can before hitting the bottom. There are also slime platforms you can use for a jump boost to try to hit more rings. Each ring will dispense a prize when you drop through it, you can collect all your prizes at the bottom of the arena once you have finished, then exit through the tunnel. ECC Anniversary Raffle: Spoiler: Raffle Information Earn Raffle Tickets and turn them in to participate in the anniversary raffle. This is your chance to earn a Mythic Sword, GodDrops, Tool of Choice as well as the other fantastic prizes to be won as well! Maze Run: March 21st, at 2pm EST We will be hosting yet another maze! This months maze will have a new challenging game and will be yet another celebration of ECC's 10 years. Stay turned for more information! Parkour: We have prepared a number of Parkour courses to be hosted in the Festival town, keep an eye out in chat for these randomly run Parkour contests! Trivia: Throughout the month on random evenings we will be hosting some ECC History related Trivia, as well as other Trivia, participate for the chance to win ECD or Raffle Tickets and perhaps a Giftcard as well! [/SPOILER] Spoiler: Fireworks Show Anniversary Fireworks Show! When: March 28th, 5pm EST March 28th is ECC's official 10th Birthday, we will celebrate by gathering for a fireworks show! Featuring redstone and pyrotechnics design by @TankNoodle we will be hosting a community fireworks show at a custom venue located within the event town during on the 28th. The show will be streamed via Discord, and recorded by our very own video coverage manager!
