Brief Description:
After the most recent maintenance (10/10, ~4 PM ET), several items went missing from my inventory. Only one item remained, that being the tool in my hand. The tool was owned, but its ID got wiped. I was logged into MN at the time of the maintenance. I can try to grep through all my logs a bit later today to get the IDs.
Instructions:
1. Be logged in to MN before maintenance with magic items in your inventory.
2. Note the loss of inventory items post-maintenance.
How many times did you recreate this?:
This has happened to me personally either once or twice before, and I know other users have experienced this issue before as well.
Result:
My inventory is mostly wiped after server maintenance.
Expected Result:
My inventory should stay in-tact between server maintenance.

This one happened after a restart as well.
This user was mob-farming on MN; I was doing so as well.
I believe electronicboy was working on / had a fix back some years ago, but I'm not sure if that was ever implemented.
I'm not sure if any of these would help in doing the investigation.
I have about 25 possibilities of what the IDs could be, so I'll need to go through those at some point. However as a reference point, the missing magic rotten flesh item is the same one used in a contract some weeks ago: #LS7SH3LC.
When it comes to the magic crossbow, the only item which stayed in my inventory, and the item that was in my hand at the time the server underwent maintenance, it shows an ID of #KUROXCX6. It however doesn't show my name or UUID, as would be expected with owned tools.
(In terms of /toolsearch, I was under the impression that it would say that the item was "moved into" something. However, I use this command so infrequently that I don't know if this was a change or if certain logs are not showing accurately. At the moment, I'm only seeing that it was moved out of the travel bag.) -

I managed to pinpoint the 8 items missing based on looking back on which items were last moved to MN by Richard.
Richard was mob-grinding before he was disconnected during maintenance, I will mention that during server shutdown he managed to pull off one last /sell command in the middle of everything shutting down.
The items he sold would have all required all of his magic/mythic items to be checked for sell bonuses.
Here is the log of the /sell in the middle of everything shutting down.

All these items were sold in that last /sell before the server finished shutting down.
The only ones that are not missing was the Magic Crossbow and his Magic Armor set.

In this report where Khrones also lost several tools during maintenance, he also managed to pull off a /sell all while the server was shutting down.
August 14th, 2024 when we had a maintenance
The items I replaced for Khrones for this incident were Mythic Item Bone (Mythic Sword), Magic Item Cod and Magic Item Leather. Both /sell all's were also popped off after LS had been disabled during shutdown.
That's the only similarity I've found so far other than them both grinding mobs with spawner setups when being disconnected during server shutdown.-

We've pushed something that should mitigate this and prevent it from happening in the future.
It will be live after our next maintenance. We will test it a few times on you Richard and see how it goes.
Basically if our custom plugin is unloaded, /sell & /sell all should not function, which in theory fixes this.-
