New players are constantly frustrated by this. ExtCreationsPlus2 has plenty of other benefits, so removing shulker use from it won't have a major impact and people will still buy it. +1

 

If possible, make it so people without the feature cannot break or place them, but can still access them. IMO, this will be a good medium so people who bought the feature specifically for shulkers won't get pissy.

It doesn't. I just stated that as an alternative since historically there has been uproar when a feature that they paid for in the past becomes available for all to use (i.e. /tpa, /ctag, anvil use, etc.). IMO if we want a change to something like this, we should make the [previously] donatable feature do something to benefit those who purchased it, that or refund everyone if it becomes available to everyone, but I don't think Andrew is up for that. For example, while /tpa became available to all, those with the feature didn't have a cooldown which made the feature still a worthwhile feature. Anvil use was tricky but made it still worthwhile with ereps.

While I agree shulker boxes should be used by all players, the rest of the feature is not worth it at this point in time: If you remove shulker access from ExtCreations++ for all player use, all that remains in that feature pack is beacon placement (for decorative use only), 1.15 crafting table shortcut commands, and /kit mobs2. In all honesty, until there is another feature that is added to this feature pack that can replace shulker access and make it worth the 30USD it cost, then I wouldn't suggest limitations for all players who don't have the feature pack.

In that case, make nether and end available for everyone who didn't buy Survivor or Voyager since nether and end are vanilla as well.

You can't store shulker boxes within shulker boxes. So the whole point is moot.

 

My mistake, I must’ve remembered wrong - I certainly recall speaking to Revan about Shulkers, hopefully she can shed some light on what we discussed.

Please try to elaborate on your posts in future to avoid multiple posts that could be condensed into one.

I still standby the fact that Shulkers aren’t a game changing item that is desperately needed, they can be placed for users by those with the feature.
