In Game Name: L1suWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: President Title suggestion. What are you suggesting: I have recently ranked up to president but was not ready to claim my next town so now that I am ready I can't go back and put in my cords for my town I would have to pay 220k for another town. So what I am asking is to be able to go back and claim my 2nd town which I earned.....Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: It would help other players not go through the same problemOther information: Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
+1 I don't see why there would be a problem with giving "town create" claims to people who wish to rank up, but don't want to build a town right away.
-1 just don't rank up until you're ready? I can't think of a reason why you'd want to rank up before you're ready to pick a location for a town.
In the president application forum, you tick a box saying you have read the in-depth application instructions (which are here). The last bullet point under "Requirments" says the following: " If you choose to opt out of your President town, you lose the ability to claim this town and you proceed with the Additional Town Application price scale for your future towns." I personally have never seen anyone complain about this before. Most people read the wiki or just simply ask before applying. I understand it sucks for you but it is stated.
I mean, like @blazwura97 said, if you aren’t ready for a second town, don’t apply. And while I get the “i didn’t want a town when I applied, but now I do” argument, additional towns exist, and to change all the forums and put extra work on staff to check if the town was claimed or not isn’t fair for the GA+ staff members when it seems like a super rare case and already has a workaround
I mean just give the dude a town. If it's a super rare case, who cares, it's basically 0 extra work. Don't really see the point in seeking to punish people not reading everything, if we want to improve player retention I don't feel like the correct approach is "oh, you didn't fully read one of our dozens of long wiki pages that basically say the exact same thing except for this specific one right there, sucks to suck"
This. ^ If you are looking for a special circumstance to be made, it's far better to contact @ClarinetPhoenix via forum PM and she will try to make an exception for you. Making it publicly allowed however is not something we're going to implement.
