B1 - Increased drop rate on amethyst shards or increased fortune on placed ores. B2 - Redstone, Lapis and coal ores drop 18 B3 - placed ores break as though they are natural minus any boosted effect (even with a b3 iron ore, iron ore drops 18.)Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: B1 - Amethyst farming in particular has become quite popular since we have been able to collect budding amethyst. this will further increase amethyst farming popularity and profits. This was mainly just to have something to offer on top of the 2 main ideas i had. B2 - Redstone, lapis and coal are ignored now as I mine and i can say with a high level of certainty that the same can be said of others. this will offer a reason to mine the less desirable and less profitable ores. it also further adds a reason to boost redstone, coal, and lapis ores. B3 - I remember years ago as i was starting that it was worth more for me to silk an iron ore and sell it, instead of mine it myself because of the placing power of a magic pick. This will offer the same money making opportunity for newer players. when we remove the boosted ore effect, only receiving 18 instead of 72 will be considerably less profitable still then mining themselves but offer a high value to the silked ore.Other information: #makesilkedoresgreatagain #magicpick #makemininggreatagain #ECCforeverPlugin or custom addition: boosts/magicOne suggestion per form: I Understand.
Overall, -1 because I do not agree with the B2 and B3 ideas in the spirit of the magic pick The B1 with the amethyst shards is a nice idea, but I honestly would rather prefer it with a boosted amethyst shard as that seems to fit better with the theme of boosted items. Should also mention that increasing the fortune for this boost becomes almost moot with your B2 idea (I can tell you right now nobody will just have a B1 Magic pick when base booster can allow up to Boost II w/o the upgraded feature) B2 with a standard drop for coal, lapis, and redstone I do not like having them a standard drop rate because of the Fortune IV; If we make everything a standard drops rate, then there is no point to the Fortune IV on the pick (also, this was suggested before and denied because of the community input) B3 we actually got rid of because of an exploit; it used to work like that when the magic pick first dropped, but it was removed. iirc Andrew said it was due to an exploit, so that's why it was changed to only be naturally generated ores. I would want this, but sadly, it's not going to happen
