    Boosted Magic Pick
    What are you suggesting:
    Three boosted levels of a magic pick

    Boost I - A togglable smelting mechanic (with shift + right click) that drops smelted versions of whatever you are mining (like stone, ingots, etc) [basically, like the old Flux Picks). We can call it "Flux Mode" in honor of the old Flux Picks.


    Boost II - Insta-mine all ores (including deepslate & nether variants), obsidian, crying obsidian, endstone, and tuff [deepslate already instamines, so tuff as well would be helpful]). I would keep the naturally generated manufactured blocks (and their variants) off the instamine tho (stone bricks, cobblestone, nether brick blocks, manufactured blackstone, manufactured tuff)

    Boost III - Fortune V & 15% chance of double drops (or maybe even 20%). Maybe even 9 diamonds dropping per ore

    Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
    A boosted pick would be cool and will have people use their boosts more often. For the specific boosts, here's why I think they are good additions:

    Boost I: So originally, I had it where Boost III dropped more iron, gold, diamonds, emeralds, and copper, but in some field testing with other boosted items, this would be wayyyy to OP, so that idea was scrapped and the original Boost I & II shifted to II and III respectively. To fill the Boost I, the ability to get your stuff smelted without using a furnace or doing /smelt was an interesting idea that I was thinking of originally. Basically, it's like the old Flux picks from many years ago. It might not be too useful, but for the first Boost in a tiered system with even stronger Boost II and III, it might be neat. This is not to mention that this can also act like a pseudo silk touch for a magic pick and allows boosted collectible ingots to be a thing.

    Boost II:
    Ores do not instamine with a magic pick, even when standing on the ground. I have to activate Super Breaker to breeze through them (and with the jobs system, is not a good idea to do anymore). A boost to have this all the time is reasonable, especially since I lose job points/EXP if I use Super Breaker.
    I added a few other annoying items like obsidian stuff & tuff to make it even better too


    Boost III:
    To keep to the theme of the Magic Pick, another level of fortune and a little more chance of double drops seems like the right step, especially for the maximum boost level, which you need three boosts and an expensive rank to get. However, extra Fortune isn't groundbreaking since it only will affect coal, redstone, quartz, and lapis drops (as well as some farming drops too, but is worse than the magic hoe). The additional 5% (or 10%) chance for double drops might be nearing an economy shift, but again, you need three boosts and an expensive feature set to even get here, so you need to invest a lot.
    Other information:
    This is just a rough thought. I am not against shifting the Boost levels around a bit or increasing/decreasing the power of each level

    +1 thought I would exchange boost II and boost III. i feel like the 1.5x should be the final form, since it can make you get a lot more money if you combine it with boosted ores

    personally i agree with the insta breaking boost, but I'm strongly against anything that boosts emeralds anymore as that effects the treasure medal/requirements a bit if emeralds become easier to get. I also don't think we really need to boost drops even more on the pick. so giving this a +0.5

    I hear you, but keep in mind in order to even get to that stage, you need three boosts and at least Booster+ ($800 for the features)

    Not to mention, collector's prestige is already one of the most expensive prestiges (valued a lot higher than mythic). I'm not saying make it easier since prestiges are meant to be expensive and/or challenging, but giving a little more emeralds per ore (which is already a rare ore) isn't going to make the emerald collector extremely easier; it'll still have the challenge.

    I still believe this would be the best choice if we get a boosted pickaxe :)

    Bumping this, especially since Super Breaker, which most people really only use on ores if they have a magic pick, reduces jobs ECD & job points

    So I got rid of the 1.5x drops of the specific ores that are affected by magic (emerald, diamond, gold, iron, copper). In some field research with other boosted items, it would be way too OP. Instead, I added a togglable autosmelt idea & shifted the other two up a level. Basically, it is now the following boost levels:

    Boost I - A togglable smelting mechanic (with shift + right click) that drops smelted versions of whatever you are mining (like stone, ingots, etc) [basically, like the old Flux Picks). We can call it "Flux Mode" in honor of the old Flux Picks.

    Boost II - Insta-mine all ores & stone items that you find naturally in the world (stone, andesite, granite, diorite, terracotta, calcite, netherrack, basalt, blackstone, tuff [deepslate already instamines]).

    Boost III - Fortune V & 15% chance of double drops

    I love this new idea, I don’t know what we’d replace but what if we added a mine the whole vein option somehow like the veinminer mod on spigot? That way we get the whole vein at once and can move on faster? If we’re gonna boost the pick at all I don’t think adding any material bonuses is as good of an idea as a speed bonus. But I truly do love the flux pick idea, I miss having that. Genuinely!

    I like it! I personally want to keep the instamine all stone types & ores (since that is what initially triggered this suggestion). Maybe we can make the instamine the Boost I, but make Boost II the togglable autosmelt with the veinminer (like a two for one), or add that to Boost III with the Fortune V + 15% chance for double drops

    Not sure how I feel about pumping up the quartz supply, not to mention it would kinda defeat the purpose of boosted nether quartz ore’s increased drops.

    I mean, events pump out shulkers of quartz blocks like candy these days, and a dchest of quartz blocks is only 750 quest points (which one can easily obtain with some easy quests).
