    Did you maybe install a mod wrong?
    If not, try deleting your minecraft folder and starting MC again to make a new one.

    That happened to me when I installed a teexture pack wrong, just delete your .bin folder.

    It seems when i install optifine it works great for single player but multiplayer will not cooperate and displays dirt/blackscreen
    I have installed optifine many many times but this time it seems to not want to work
    Help me

    I cannot log into multiplayer with optifine the screen goes dirt the turns black.
    I have no other mods
    10k to the person who gives me the corrects olution
    Single player works fine with optifine
    Do not be vauge like "You didnt install it properly"
    I want detailed instructions on how to fix this issue

    Do %appdata% delete your .bin folder, and then open minecraft, hope this worked and I get 10k!
