I understand that you have to cut excavation drops, but that just plain sucks for me and the rest of the excavators. Seriously, I was pulling around 28k an hour. No need to fly. No need for an eff V ax. Score another victory for the blight that is pumpkin farming.

I just thought I would complain a little even though I know it can't be fixed right now. I love this server though, and you guys do a great job.

 

Sooooo if we have exp on our character right now.... what happens? With the amount of exp needed for levels being less will the orbs on your character be erased? If i had known we were updating I wouldve put it in a sign....

 

Well at least i can finally smelt all my iron and sell all my books.

 

Your exp should be fine, I had 7 lvls when we quit, 7 lvls when I updated and rejoined.

That is a bit depressing how excavation was disabled. I myself don't excavate but i know a lot of people have spent a long time working on their levels for the drops. Hope it comes back soon. I'm sure you guys are working hard and thanks for the update! Good luck with the rest of the preparations!

you do realize that mining ores has a small CHANCE of getting exp, i went and tested 1.3.1 while server is down and got about 1 exp orb outa every 5 coal ore. so dont expect to earn mass exp from ores

The ores are weighted. You get way more exp out of higher ores like diamond than something like coal. Same goes for smelting. Smelting gold will earn more exp than smelting cobble

Also there are a ton of rumors (to be expected) about this... so to clear it up once again, there is a conflict between the MCMMO plugin and our anti-cheat plugin that causes massive dupes. wewinagain was able to get thousands of drops within seconds. This has been reported to the devs of the plugins (ECC devs can't do anything about this!) and until it is resolved the drops will remain disabled.

ECC staff feels the same about this and all of the other issues related to 1.3... in simple terms.. IT SUCKS!
