Why should your town be chosen (Be as detailed as possible, this affects our decision making big time!): A lot of users have helped make this town be prosperous, by giving it a portal, tearing down old houses and more! We are all very happy with how it looks.

Just wondering, does it have to be a town, or can it be a nation with towns placed together into a massive city?

Also, I see that you don't ask for pictures or coords. How do you know where are towns are in order to judge?

Another thing is, if there can be multiple towns together into a big city, can some parts be claimed by other users but are part of yours? :p

Town Name: Welkin

Why should your town be chosen (Be as detailed as possible, this affects our decision making big time!): It's probably one of my best creations on the server other than the Brotherhood base. It represents my at most greatest building potential along with the best representation of Medieval architecture I can create.

Town Name: caprica
Size: 200x200
Theme (Roman, Gothic, Mid Evil, Slur, Water, Fire, etcetera.): Modernistic, skyscraper
Why should your town be chosen (Be as detailed as possible, this affects our decision making big time!): I think my city had taken the turn and is different from many other aesthetically pleasing cities on the server, being the first to take advantage of the natural beauty of the landscape, with lush, green, jungle grass and its dazzling location on a jungle island. The buildings are designed by some of the best architects on the server, and it acts as a gateway to other areas of Caprica nation, such as the Titanic, the statue of liberty, and the stock exchange building. Notable builds include the zodiac tower, a massive, wool-and-glass skyscraper with 42 floors, with an elitist penthouse planned, only for the richest members of the server. The apartments are extremely modern with killer interior design, adding a welcome feeling to the city.
Anything else you would like to add: I would like to thank outerlocal for contributing greatly to my city. It is also currently unfinished, so there will be half-done builds and some floating foundations.

 

Town Name: Conquest

Why should your town be chosen (Be as detailed as possible, this affects our decision making big time!): Unfortunetly, my town is still being developed with no time for beautification right now. Right now I think there are 2 main features for my town, the mall with a McDonald's (built by Dfat) and the pre-1.3 library I built. I also recreated the *snipe* chest from spawn (it only took 4 hours to get it right). It will be awesome when the town is done but for now still needs lots of work.
Anything else you would like to add: Top prize will go towards fly, for the finishing touchs for the buildings. You have to see the town for its potencial.

Town Name: Miami
Size: 200x200
Theme (Roman, Gothic, Mid Evil, Slur, Water, Fire, etcetera.): Underwater
Why should your town be chosen (Be as detailed as possible, this affects our decision making big time!): Well Miami is this maps original underwater city and boasts multiple completely submerged domes and completely underwater plots with a dome and a glass roof privacy room, the city was built by Unknownrider and Canada_Blue. The city has dedicated facilities for farming, enchanting, and living, all underwater. The city is considerd to be an elite city with only the best of the best members of ECC living in the city, some notable residents include Xray009 and BurnsBrightly. The plots hall boasts 3 hallways of plots with each plot having a dedicated door and staircase for privacy. The city once had a casino which was since replaced with mayoral offices and has a Trade center under construction.
Anything else you would like to add: I do not "Technically" own the town, but I run every aspect of it and have several co-mayors under me. Weirdbuilder is the cities dedicated plot builder and helps to sell plots at time. The town is "officially" owned by Canada_Blue but he has since sold it to me right after official town transfers were removed.

 

haha. Now now, that's not true. There are plenty of good towns out there who can match any of my towns.
@ibnfadlan01. Thought you might be interesting in entering Darkwatch. I know it's not finished, but it's very impressive.

Having said that...

Town Name: Gemenon
Size:200x200
Theme: The city has a largely medieval European theme to it.
Why should your town be chosen (Be as detailed as possible, this affects our decision making big time!): Gemenon has been going for (I would guess) about 10 months now. I built the entire city pretty much single handedly, and therefore it took me a lot of time and effort to get it to the state that it is today. Even now I wouldn't say that it is 100% done, but it's neaaaarly there. The town is built over water, and originally had no land mass, accept for the small island where I built the gates (This island was once a lovely place, but sadly it's been near enough obliterated over time. Sigh). I placed every block by hand, so no cheating with world edits. It was also created without the help of fly, which resulted in more than a few deaths (I do now have fly, thank god, but that was sometime after I built the city). When I first founded the city I was not very well known on the server (it was a lonely time :( ) and was certainly not rich. I had to use the materials I could gather myself, and on more than one occasion I had to actually halt construction and wait for the votes to reset so I could get some money to afford some materials I was so desperate haha.
The city has parks, canals, a windmill, free public farm, shops, a marketplace, multiple housing districts, apartments, a train which circles the town walls, a colossal town hall, and even it's own Amphitheatre.
The city is pretty well liked in general (as far as I'm aware), so I hope that you agree :)

Town Name:Sikkoland

Theme (Roman, Gothic, Mid Evil, Slur, Water, Fire, etcetera.):Small jungle islands in ocean biome
Why should your town be chosen (Be as detailed as possible, this affects our decision making big time!): My town is pretty unique considering that everything has been built by myself, even the islands and without using commands such as fly. The big attraction is the pirate ship, which is quite huge. I think the islands,houses and boat fit very nicely with each other, making it look very pleasant to look at. Also the portal area (in the glass room down in the sea) makes a pretty awesome impression. The building time has been several months and still I will add more and more things in future. The fact that visitors and inhabitants give positive feeback regarding the land means a lot to me and will keep me focused to continuously improving the land.
Anything else you would like to add:The place is opening up some time this week officially, or at least once the portal has been placed.
