Possibly in the future, those things usually take up more disk space than the actual world because the hundreds of thousands of images are actually bigger than the region files.
I tried saying this in chat, but a bunch of staff whom I will not mention attacked me for it, saying stuff like "we can't please everyone" and such. I'm not here to complain exactly, or to say anything bad. All I am suggesting is that there be a way , make it hard if you want, but at least be a way, to get the other crates (such as rare) without having to pay in real life money. I understand that this is another way for the server to make money. The thing is, even with ranks there is a way to get them without actuallypaying money. (Top voter) Please don't attack me like what happened in-game, I just think this would help.
Create a properly formatted suggestion under the desired servers forum without attacking the server/staff and we will move from there.
I'm great with resets, but yes, keeping cash on reset would be super nice. Many folks work hard farming things to sell, so that would be great. With the re-launch there doesn't seem to be an end portal? I don't think I missed it, so an end portal would be great to gather mats there for building and such. The wild doesn't seem to have a "warp wild" option anymore to zoom around to different biomes. This is tough when trying to find mats to create your home/town, etc. I'm lucky as I have upgraded my rank to include /fly, but for lower ranked folks, this is kind of hard. Even with flying, I've been zooming around and not finding any jungle, for example (Yes, I just need to fly more, but you get me)... :-D Thanks again for all the hard work! Super fun!
-Info board for new players in spawn village -Reinstating /wild in the pit - it's very difficult on ranks that can't fly when they're trying to gather materials, and it's very time consuming trying to get materials for projects and you can't find certain biomes to gather materials. -Reducing time in /wild - personally, I think 20m is a very, very long time to have to wait, like when you're trying to find a place to make a house/base, especially for lower ranks who are unable to fly (I like the idea of having it so Trusted+ players only have to wait 1 minute to use it and members have to wait a bit longer). -Staff board in spawn village -Rabbit eggs in kit eggs -End portal in spawn village -Reinstating /warp donate explaining all the perks of the ranks, so players don't have to go to the website to look. Hope you'll consider some of my suggestions, and pleased to see the work being put into the server. Thanks!
For the forums - what happened to the Staff thread? (or maybe I am not looking hard enough) Also for /spawn, like Ryavy said above It would be helpful to see who to contact if needed.
The box with info on the right side of the screen has confused many new players: 'Vote Keys' suggests that these vote keys are theirs. Perhaps a simple change in text would suffice to fix this. I suggest something like: ' Votes until party' / 'Voting Countdown' or something.
Colors in the tab menu were intentionally removed because they proved to be an eyesore for some. Sorry!
I don't think they would be an eyesore if tab was changed to organize it to ranks, example in the top left it would be owners, then admins, and so on going down. Currently it's organized alphabetically.
I think we need a boost in the economy. Sure $400 a day is good but there isn't really a good way of making money outside of this, apart from auctioning but of course you need things of value such as spawners etc. Would it be possible to add back crops into the shop, maybe selling 64 sugarcane/wheat/pumpkins/melons etc for about $2-5 a stack? At least that way we can kind of grind to get some money outside of voting that isn't mob drops. And while we are at the shop , do you mind adding bulk sell signs such as sell an inventory of bones(2304)/whatever at the same time for the same as selling them 32 at a time. ~Shadow
I support this idea. A lot of new players have made it clear that they are having trouble with making money. It's especially hard for players who don't have the rank to /auc or /ah. These people have to sell by calling out that they're selling stuff in chat, unfortunately these people aren't usually heard. Shadow's idea would provide these people with a good way to make money.
Definitely. The amount of times I see smaller players being a bit disappointed because no one is listening to them whilst us donors get a huge alert in chat that we are auctioning things is , in my opinion, kind of frustrating for newer players.
I agree 100%, we need to implement easier ways for non ranked players to make money and integrate into the community, even as a (non)trusted.
