Oh okay thanks clerafing that up
there's a limit on challenges, since i can remember this never was there
I agree with Thimoj above, would it be possible to have infinite repeating challenges?
Agreed, I don't like having a cap on challenges cause after a while it can make a lot of your farms somewhat useless besides selling in shop lmao, it's the main way to get resources on non op skyblock.
So there's also a 100 hopper limit on an island, like can this not be a thing please, it limits players so so much it's just dumb.
i agree with what was posted by the OP.
on top of that i would like to consider revisiting the villager limit per player. it puts a solo player behind everyone else that spams their island with members. instead of putting a villager limit id suggest to reintroduce the "mob per chunk" limit. this way one can limit the amount of iron farms being built on top of each other and give everyone the same chance.
id also suggest to revisit the prices for basic resources the shop buys (like cobblestone, stone or the like) those are way too high. with the prices as they are now a lot of money is swamped into the game which is barely spent in the shop again (inflation might occur). basically the shop prices should be revisited to control inflation (make some stuff in shop more affordable to be able to take some money out of the game again). currently most people will stockpile money and eventually cause prices of simple items to skyrocket making them absolutely unaffordable by any newcomer.
lastly i dont really understand the removing of the cactusfarmer challenge and replacing it with the papermaker one (which was the clay one before i believe) so instead of cactus one needs sugar cane . a suggestiong would be to make the challenge need 128 instead of 64 cactus to complete instead of entirely removing it. all in all i dont really understand the reasoning behind this change in particular.
i must say that the economy and ruleset of skyblock before it was reset and turned into the op-skyblock desaster was the best (i also still have the additional challenges we came up with that were eventually added, some of them to reduce challenge completion spam and i still have those that were entirely new to add some kind of unique experience to AEM skyblock)
i hope mine and the OPs suggestions will be considered in their entirety.
Agree with everything said here, but I would like to add one more thing to the challenges, they should be infinitely repeatable as I said in the original thread, a very massive part of how players get items on skyblock are from challenges, but once the 100 limit ends, the only way to get those materials would be through kits or the shop and would make the p2p prices very high since now they're very rare but still demanded highly.
Here is the link to the google docs sheet where i collected all the challenges that we came up with before the reset. Some of them are missing the rewards yet.
the orange - ish marked ones are completely new as well as the green ones. some were changed especially the ones requiring islands lvls some were already in the game hence they dont have a special marking anymore in the spreadsheet (mostly the spam reducing challenges like expert cobblemaker and the like). if this will be considered again i can work on the sheet and bring it all up to date.
Can we at least get a reply?
Would it be possible to get a list of the new block values?
looking at the default config of the plugin and the list that was posted by calcium in the skyblock forum, unless some values were changed, it appears the list posted is up to date.
The values were changed with the release of non-op.
so since this "network" will have a new owner and hopefully more acitivity on the maintenance and update front i hope this will be reconsidered for skyblock (it was in the game partly when alex was the owner still)
