[Official] Non-Op Skyblock Suggestion Thread

    Islands will be 281x281
    There will no longer be cobble and ore gen, only cobble generators, no third party plugins will alter what comes out of generators.

    removing the ability to /block (creates blocks out of the materials)

    Nether and End will be reset every month or every other month depending on the size, You will only be able to create portals to these worlds, not from nether and end to overworld

    Blaze spawners will be mine-able from the nether, but there will be harsh limitations on how many of these can spawn and how long they will stay alive.

    We're also removing /shop and /sellall on non-op skyblock. Everyone will have to warp to the shop area to buy/sell

    Please no crates, they're terrible. Or at least without spawners

    There will be crates, but nothing like what is on OP Skyblock

    Also i don't want spawners on there, hence my comment on the post above.

    Can we get clarification please? This sounds like blaze spawners can be mined and kept (not destroyed in the normal fashion) to be placed somewhere else later (like on an island maybe?).

    Yes, that is correct. However they will not spawn a lot of mobs

    Going back on the discussion on the pay to win idea. I understand that some players may be unable to donate large sums of money to an online game. This can promote player trading by using in game money/materials to pay another player to buy you a rank. Also, someone said that /fly is to op for a non-op skyblock. I do not agree with this being someone who has played before OP skyblock was on AEM and worked my way through the ranks using player trades and rankups to do so.

    MCMMO is a great time saver. It also means we like WoW.

    It's not for non-OP skyblock, it's a horrible idea for non-OP Skyblock. Yes it might be a time saver, but you're supposed to grind a lot on non-OP Skyblock not get everything in a couple minutes.

    However, Sway uses MCMMO to make a little extra cash. Although not officially on Skyblock, MCMMO credits can be purchased and act globally. Expecting Sway not to jump on this is like expecting CoD 2017 not to have supply drops. After all, AEM has supply drops.

    To clarify, we're not planning to put McMMO on non-OP Skyblock.

    EDIT: Also, McMMO credits are server-to-server, not global.

    MCMMO is a horrible plugin for skyblock especially non-OP skyblock, adding it would ruin the experience and would make skyblock easy, which is what we don't want it to be.
